Some might already put the past behind. Some might still be a little unhappy but that part i dun really know.. Sometimes its not that people are unhappy that they did not come. There are 1001 other reasons why they did not turn up. YOu got to give them the benefit of the doubt. Being a new organiser ain't easy I agree. Whats more with the poor turnout everytime will demoralise the organiser even more.

 

A great organiser I worked before in an events company once said, its not the money, its not the quantity of the turnout. IT IS THE SMILES ON THE PEOPLE'S FACES WHO TURNED UP that matters. If you feel that one of the reasons that people dun turn up is becose of the program, then do something about it. You can constantly change, adapt and try and see what the majority wants and be more flexible. And best of all is you must accept feebacks and critiscm with an open mind.

 

Yes we do have a misunderstanding in the past me and you. But that's all over with a handshake over at clarke quay. All the times ESRs have our own program which clashes with the main outings'. I would oso like to join S4M in their outings and makan sessions but I am already filled to the brim with one group. And I must admit that I am not that good in handling mutliple appointments thats why I did not join them of late. Its not that I have a misunderstanding or watsoever. THe point is, people dun join doesn't mean they dun like. Perhaps they are already occupied with something else which holds more meaning in their heart.

 

That is why I suggest the main outing to be a quarterly kind of thing. Let the date be out first. Slowly plan the program. Let the idea sink into the S4 members here steadily and by having an enormous time to wait for the main outing, they can make ready their appointments to blend together with the main outing.

 

Well, that's all I can say for now. And one more impt thing as an organiser, he doesn't count the $$ he spent on the outings whether its sms or petrol and he doesn't even state them down in times of withdrawal. So lean your head back, take a deep breathe and reflect on this. Everyone needs a wake up call once in a while sometimes even me. Noone's perfect. But one can strive not to be a loser either. So the above is just a suggestion and simple words of advice. Its up to you to think abt it..

ok, let me talk some crap first!

i did prepare the gathering today by...

making up my bike...

went to jb at noon to wash bike, pump full tank petrol, reach home polish bike with wax, chrome polish, armor all, chain lube, leather care.

left home at 8.20pm with the christmas present...

met pyro13 who was on the way to work...

reach KKFC about 8.40pm and 1 bike was already there...

 

14 S4 and 2 "tua gus" gathered, some with pillion...

i really gotta thank you all for coming to tis Dec S4 outing/gathering. a bit of "hor lan" here and there... then at CV rain 3 times of 10 mins. then vinsonyap nearly crash with me at CV traffic junction... may funny things happened today but it was fun. really see the support that you all gave me. one more thing, the christmas presents exchange, only 3 person bring which includes me... thanks to Kenteo for being the lead man, edwardthy for being the last man, eblikes for being the offical photographer, there is also a spiderman called "spider46"... kindly change your nick and make post... trust me, all the guys are waiting, u have seen the answers urself right? the rain at CV was the only thing that spoilt some of our mood... but regained when we were on the road again... and also funny, when we travel from CV to Yishun dam, it drizzle all the way until we reach the dam... fated we must be at the dam right? haha! as for the 3 ladies, i personally believe ladies are meant to be doted and cared for thats why i said NO MOVE when the rain comes as we were about to move off. i have to cater the safety of all riders and pillions tat are involved in the outing so its NO MOVE when it rains...

 

ok la... too excited and happy to see all smiling faces for this Dec s4 outing. hope you guys and gals really enjoyed this Dec s4 monthly gathering... without you guys and gals, this outing will not be a successful one... you guys and gals... ROCKS!!!

Hey-O guys & gals of yesterdays outing 231206...

 

One word to describe the outing ----- SHIOK.

 

The best part of the outing is always the moving off in formation. Everyone was looking at us and the feeling is super shiok. Not to mention the delicious food and making alot of new friends riding S4. It has been an eye-opener experience for me. Compared to all the S4 seniors, I really have alot alot to learn.

 

Many thanks to THOMAS (Big Boss) for entrusting me as the last man and KEN TEO as the lead man. Wonderful job in leading us, whew! eblikes, thanks for the nice shots. Your bro very cute! Michael- din know we clicked so well! Keith and pillion which i forgot her name, nice knowing u! spider175, thanks for the fruitful conversation! vinsonyap, nice SPEC3, considering getting a box?
