taxi driver fold his mirror so bikers can lane split at traffic junction

He might also be a rider or he knows that letting a rider through will not make the jam any worse and in fact will put a smile on someone's face.

We went into a high security building for a briefing/training/tagging today.

But the guide was not happy and we were instead told to stay away.

Three other gentlemen was with me, so I tried to cool their temper, and kinda maneuvered them around the Heritage Centre. We went thru the exhibits and I was able to share a lot of info that are well, not so clearly in the notes or on display.

To which, the gentlemen was really appreciative and told me so. apparently, they were pissed off with the guide and the attitude, but happy to instead walk with me around, because I share instead of guarding the knowledge.

Am on mc today, but still come into work. Because I will be that bored at home.

Its the tail end of the flu virus, and left ear is swollen and red. Even though I didn't feel any pain or anything. Fainted at work on Tuesday because of the swimming envioronment. And yet went and complete some training after work.

And young colleagues were randomly telling me to go home for my MC.

Well. I am not indispensable. But having some things to do, is better than stuck at home fidgeting. and unable to sleep at night when I nap too much.

My colleague, quite a steady lady.

She forgot that she advised me to set up only Singaporean staff to handle the office keys. And that most of our staff will not be in office for two weeks.

So I reset the schedule for her to manage the office keys as well as do lunch cover. While the rest are all phantoms.

And CNY week. We only work 2 days.

So when she just read that she is on duty, she was like "Cannot lah, too much responsibilities lah....not fair lah".

Until some colleagues reminds her. She is only technically responsible for 2 days. Then she realised that she got a great deal!

I told her....dont oneself scare oneself.....

That means when you saw me off that day, you were not well! I'm sorry that I didn't notice. I just happened to read this post

dropped my wallet while having dinner near my workplace around 7 pm.

thought it was gone for good when i received a call around 9 pm saying my wallet was delivered to my house. The kind lady that picked up my wallet traveled from west to north on the same day just to return it.

Was touched by her action. Thank you.

Every year, some insurance and membership is required to deduct from the allowances we got, for our hours we contribute to the volunteer work.

because of some hiccups at work, I was really looking forward to the payment, to help pay for some runs my office workmates want to sign on on. (The boss requested I key in details as well as make one lump sum payment first, and I get reimbursed later.)

So anyway, the amount came in a miserly $38 instead of the standard $300/-

So while I was complaining to my friends about it....saying why I was so malu at work, not being able to pay for it.

They tell me......"You still got $38, all of us ganna cut till for few months no see the allowance payment.

Goes to show how much hours you volunteered. You showing off argh?"

My Pineapple Fruit Enzymes Drink.

Kinda fun to drink. There are still some bubbles and it definitely make going to the toilet, not so difficult.

And its made at the office, with the office welfare vouchers every month.

All that is needed. One clean dry empty Nescafe Coffee Glass Container. $3.20 worth of Cut fruits aka Pineapple. And the white sugar for the office coffee.

Make sure the Pineapples are dried and not in contact with any water. Slice them up and layer them pieces by pieces with sugar into the jar. Close off and watch the juices came up and bubble up. 2 weeks later, just mix with water and drink.

Slightly alcoholic, depending on when its finally aged and drunk.

I had them on my office table, just for the fun of shaking it around and watch it bubbles inside.
