I smiled today, remembering that skinny young man that asked me yesterday: Are you ViciousKitty?

 

Yes I am young man. Though I am not sure its really good that you kinda remind me that Auntie VK is so recognizable from old photos. Kinda mean I was that fat then....and still as fat now.

Friends made me smile.

 

The day before, I went to Malaysia with this g/f of mine. And I have been kinda repeating "I so want to makan this young man.'

 

So there we were, standing at the playground of Jusco/Aeon Bukit Indah, while she is finishing her ciggies and I simply sharply turned my head to look at her and wanted to repeat the nonsense sentence.

 

She looked at me, rolled her eyes and we all burst out laughing.

 

And yes, she met the young man in question and frankly agrees with me, that I shouldnt 'corrupt/makan' this young man.

 

Friends. No need to say anything, the look, the body movement, the gestures and the teasing/lecturing as well as the arguements. Makes us friends.

Was remembering last Monday.

 

I was supposed to start a part time security assignment. (I have the SIRD licence). It was just to supplement a friend's team for a while.

 

Anyway, early early morning, I was dressed in Combat Boots, Cargo Pants, Dri fit tee and have my combat belt ready. But a sudden call and email made me cancel my assisngment and head down to the school to register for a Assessment thingy.

 

So much later, I met up with this other young man who has his afternoon off for lunch. And due to his nature of his work (facilities management), he was also in boots, black cargo pants and black short sleeve shirt. Both of us, when seated together, look like black ops. Me being much rounder and looking softer as a female, and he like a bodybuilder stout.

 

Anyway, we were walking thru somewhere, and he made a joke about how because he is in shirt, so people might mistake him as my supervisor in black ops kinda way. He was commenting that if we see soemone running away, he will instruct me to run after.

 

To which I turned to him, and say 'You siao arh', me run????? You are better off running instead.

 

To which he laugh and laugh. He realised he said funny stupid thing. Because "I do not run."

On Friday afternoon, when I rode my bike into MacDonald's for quick lunch, a car containing group of youths drove past. One of the gals in the car called out to me

 

"Nice bike"

 

I turned my head and hollered a thanks.

I smile when i flipped thru a BIKE mag and sees a short write up of my fav current ride,READ every word and sentence with total agreement and feels th e soulmate connection with the author half way across the globe.

I made a couple of pretty cheap plastic flower with plastic pearl elastic bracelets. Gave one to a Security Guard who liked one for her daughter. Went upstairs, do up another one, came downstairs measure her wrist and cut one for her.

 

Then another female security guard saw and wanted one too. As it turned out, she has small wrists. So I managed to immediately cut and make two same bracelets that she so happy, show off to the other colleagues.
