Be patient and go acquire a Class 2 License.

If the price difference is really that small, getting the 400cc model just makes no sense, unless it can out-perform the 600cc model.

More like S4 beater???

Rode both S4 and GSR6 before, and I love the sportier feel of the GSR6 much more than the laid-back S4. :cheer:

Here's the best question:

Does the GSR have slipper clutch at all?

I've been reading all the literature on the bike I can get and no reference to it havuing a slipper clutch.

But word on the street says it has.

Does it?

I'm going to bet that the GSR has no slipper clutch. The slipper clutch is good for the track, but on the street, the slipper clutch will take away all the engine braking, so that makes the bike harder to ride in the city. The slipper clutch may not find it's way into street bikes like the GSR and Super 4. The GSXR on the other hand is targetted for the track, so the slipper clutch makes sense.

Just my 2 cents... :thumb:

2nd question.

Does the GSXR-600 K4 have a slipper clutch in the first place?

Wouldn't the 200 extra ccs make a difference in the feel of the bike? I've heard that the GSXR 600 and GSXR 750 are really different when it comes to performance, and they're only 150cc apart. I feel the Super 4 should be compared against the GSR400. But then again FI will make any bike's throttle response much more crisp. So even with the GSR400, the performance and characteristics should be sportier.
