i now no bike, but my friend, offer me his honda SP, cause he not using it. he riding r6 now.

he ask me, buy my own insurance, then put subrider name on his bike, every month pay him 100 bucks, untill i don't want to use already.

i want to take 2A, so probably after i pass my 2a and got my super4, then i dont ride already. what do u guys think? isit a good deal?

COE still got ard 2 or 3 years i think. So i no need renew coe uh, only road tax every 6 months.

What do you guys think?

or should i just get a rxz for myself?

then who is responsible for the maintainence and say touch wood, if anything spoils? the bike is ultimately not under ur name and with the price, say $1300 for 13 mths till u get ur 2A and S4, u can just buy a coe SP.

costs less if u buy other cos bikes. but then... maintainence is a problem. never know wad problems such old bikes would give

u need to be young and reckless to become old and wise..... if u survive

$100 per month, say another 1 year till you pass your 2a from now... that would chalk up to $1200. enough to buy another SP or other bike which you can call it yours. it makes no difference to just buy a bike of your own. only differences are that you can pay "installment" with interest free in this case and at the end of the day, the bike still belong to your friend.

however, having said that, of course it still depends how long do you intend to use the sp? note that the catch here is that your friend say you can use it until you don't want to. so meaning you can ride it till it spoil, say you don't want to ride it anymore and return him, leaving him with the repair and maintenance bills? but doing this might cause you to lose a potential friendship la... haha.

Worth only if you are going to ride for a couple of months to decide if you want to buy an SP, or if you just want to have a cheap transport during the Dec holiday before going to BMT next Jan.

Not worth if you you are going to use it for a whole year until you take your 2A.

Like what some of the other Bros said that amount of money might as well use it to buy your own bike.

Motorcyclist are the nicest people on the road, try not to kill us.

hey, what do you expect? $100 per month..you cannot compare renting to buying. Your friend takes the ownership. I think its better to rent especially if you not going to ride it for long. you buy another SP, then got to spend money on transfer, repairs etc etc...dont just see things on the surface.

he told me, i just need to pay $50 every month, and ride untill my insurance finish, then return him back. So 12 months x $50 = $600 for riding his bike for 1 year.. I just need to buy my own insurance & pay the road tax.. what do you guys think? :S

trust me you wont wanna deal with a bike with a "fren".

Mabbe before you buy you wanna ask him a few quetions like what if i spoil the bike? total it? Do i pay or do i just farg it?

Get wat i mean? IF something happen to the bike you have to answer to your fren. IF something happens to your own bike you have only yourself to blame and no one else will blame you.

You might as well ask him wat is his bike price before you want to make any decision. Pay him the full amount if you like that after the one year you sell it back to him minus off the 1.2k lor.

I suggest if you only riding for 1 year, get a reliable bike from shop and farg it. No need to do or anything just ride one year and upgrade. Save yourself alot of trouble.
