I'll only be in Sg for 6 weeks starting in early Dec.

Was wondering if anyone has any idea of the shortest possible time to get the Cl 2 licence.

I got my Cl 2A 4 years ago over a 6 week period or so.

Was wondering if there has been any changes.

What's the usual waiting time between lessons??

Are some driving/riding schools faster than others?

Many thanks to those who reply =)

Its hard, considering you'll have to book your TP test which could be up to 6 - 8 weeks.

its possible..all dependent on your luck..if theres a free slot for the tp test date upon registration. at bbdc the 3 pracs i finished in 2 days..its almost sure pass..just dont fail cause then need to book 2 more revision before the 2nd test which is a total waste of money.

Can be done. I done mine in 4 weeks at bbdc.

First you have to book the nearest TP date after you registered.

Second you have to be very ON to go for lessons as soon as possible.

so skilful!

4wks from start to end?

u must go for like lesson everyday so u can book the TP asap?

i cant wait to take my class 2 also! :D

not quite sure about other centres,

but at SSDC for 2A, i registered 30/10

waiting for TP on 24/11

anyway for SSDC the test dates are published on the website.

just keep an eye on the latest test date and see if it's within your 6-wk window i guess.

its the waiting time of your test date that plays the major role i guess..

i took mine at CDC.....

Yup, the waiting time for the test date is most important factor to getting the license fast. You can finish all the practicals in couple of days yet you still have to contend with the test date.

can be done... only at BBDC.. providing rider is able to handle CB750 ( i got it within one month :thumb)

http://www.bbdc.sg/bbdc/bbdc_web/test.asp

BBDC allows you to book for TP test while taking lesson... no need to wait for practical lessons to be cleared.

class 2 test date is 29/12/2009, and usually there are not many participants compared to 2A and 2B, so higher chance of getting one slot..

go and register now.. but must clear 3 lessons within 2 weeks..

Can, provided u can chiong your practicals everyday. TP date is more of heng sway, someone might cancel their TP date so when u book and u might have a much earlier date..

for bbdc its possible, because u can book ur tp date upon registration, but once u book a test date and later an earlier date open up u can cancel previous test date and book the earlier date but no refund...

SSDC also can. 1 day complete 1 practical lesson.

Clear in just 1 week.

Then TP takes about 4-5 weeks. So total time is 6 weeks.

I could have gotten my in 6 weeks too, but I cannot get leave to take at that time, so took 10 weeks. Kaa! Kaa! Kaa!

It's not enough. I'm still taking my class 2 at BBDC. Average waiting time for TP test is 4-6 weeks. Good luck.

BBDC can book your tp test date the day you register.. so 6 weeks should be just nice..
