They will just inspect ur IU, some might just advise u simi simi nt legal niax...It's nt vehicle inspection...

not don wanna help bro. this issue has been brought up. m riding 08 R1 too. has the same prob. its the TPS prob. u can find on youtube hw to diy ursself to correcct the prob. mine sometimes happen. after a long time happen once. i havent bring to shop yet cos to me its nt a big prob. can bring dwn to shop n dey can also do for u

for example vicom sin Ming is just opposite LTA.

That's where the rov's base is.

N yes they occasionally drop by vicom.

I've been to vicom yishun a couple of times and saw TP there too.

saw it already... i oso dun dare do it myself... bring go shop they tell me change TPS $150... den maybe the spark plug rod spoilt.. $100 each.... total : $550.... -.-""

noway to prevent the rust... like me 2 days no ride rust will start to form... but u ride jiu no more liao lor... so no worries abt the rust...

free just go petrol kiosk... go to the pump.. press "FLAT TYRE" and blow thoses dust away.. =))

try to wash using plain water only and wipe dry with a clean cloth

well sad to say that your windshield has gotten some oil stains or chemicals on them and is unable to wash off .... if u ask me how these stains got unto your windshield, 1) kenna sabotage 2) u go bikeshop for servicing or whatever, the mechanics push your bike or servicing your bike, the hands that are in contact with engine oils or other chemical solvents touches your windshield

as what maxbg has earlier posted, besides the TPS problem it could be the YCCT problem also ... need to verify with a bikeshop that is honest

Bro, i got the same prob before and its the tps prob. Apparently the tps got some kind of reading. Anyway if you got got no idea where to go to, can try my mech, Alex, from motofactor. If you want can PM me for his number. Good luck

Which shop would you recommend? Thinking of doing my servicing in the next time round but have no preference other than planet mtrs. I only traveled about 1.3km and my engine oil turned dark. So fast. Hard to shift the gears are some indicators as well. Any recommendations of good engine oil? Considering Motul at the moment.

Guys, how much is the 2009 and 2010 R1 models going for? Do you think there are still any unsold R1 2009 models? I remember the ballpark figure was 30k, but i dont know if that is OTR or Machine Price.

 

Also, I just saw the 2011 R1. Any idea what the price is for that when it reaches SG shores? The fairing with the skulls wasnt so nicely received by the US R1 forum, haha! Saying it was too heavily influenced by Lorenzo - who knows, could be a 'parting gift' from Yamaha to Rossi! Heheheh
