i can ride with u bro.. haha. i don ride fast. follow speed limt and always check blindspot. signal every turn.. safety rider.. hehe

haha...sorry for MIA man....

my company was shifted in a temp building for quite sometime and my boss was sitting directly behind me.... :shy:

then transfered to a new building, no blindspot sia... :lol:

now i changed dept new place got blindspot....BUT

cant be back in action cuz i sold off my beloved R1 in Apr :weep:

Kallang is good but it still in the east... Abit more up so west side rider wont feel the pain to travel... Must be fair for all. Just my 1cent of words. Cos last meet up was at changi. Tot of doing it in the central. If others done mind kallang, then i organise n meet up at kallang. :thumb:

Change your Xhaust to a carbon fiber one. Your pillion will have less heat. Works for me :)

 

mine is the original pipe lei got a cover liao.

well what pum9kin_h3ad is trying to explain is that your original exhaust no doubt has a metal cover, is a high conductor of heat so pillion still can feel the heat.

 

But carbon fibre is a poor conductor of heat so pillion wont feel that much heat.

dun worry Laz3r... i teach u very easy one...

its all about getting used to the heat....

so wad u need to do is keep bringing yr pillion (hopefully is girl la *wink* ) out more often...

preferably night coz cooler... day dun say pillion.. even rider oso very hard to stand the heat unless S`pore got volcano eruption too.. den dust and haze will cover the sun's heat... (ok abit off topic)

wad i trying to say is slowly get used to it.... try to practice safety riding gears even for pillions recommending them to wear jeans loo.. =))

when i just got my 08'.. my gf's leg after 10-15mins ride will show very very red patch on the right side due to the Y-pipe...

ppl recommended aft mkt pipe... i tot all same so went to get this big big "ARROW" but not carbon fiber de... gf claims doesn't know whether heat was reduced or got used to it already... but the sound is great...

going to 2years le my 08' no complaints already...

one more thing... cannot so complies wif girl so much one hor.. complaint hot put her down lo.. and continue riding yr R1 bro... =))

 

oh wait.. got shop tell me wad R1 so hot oso due to wad got one piece of "termostats" or something must take out or wad so can reduce heat... i didn't heel his advice la.. anyone knows abt this things?

Take out thermostat is good but not sure how good is good. Cos engine need to have certain temp to be in a good running state... Can try ask in the r1 forums. Angmoh rider mostly hands on their bike...

thx for all the advice =) i currently won't put carbon fibre on my pipe first cuz saving money to change termi full sys. as for the thermostat i will go ask my mechanic wat is it.

one more thing!!!

always ride with as much fuel as possible....

always when tank empty... i feel the heat gets trapped in the tank and so yr legs gripping the tank will be damn hot...

and Laz3r!! yrs black colour.. GG... lolol...
