Yamaha YZF R1ders

Was told by the shop. 1 owner bike, she got a slipped disc so doctor's order...no riding.

Just wondering if the shop who consigns the bike is telling the truth, hence my questions. The mileage of the bike is very low. Tyres have some chicken strips, so it probably been to the track. Shop guy says owner been only once, I doubt it. But bike is completely stock, no mods, no additions.

I'm currently riding a F800GS but I'd like also to get the R1 to really learn how to ride especially on the track.

Aniway, just wanna share a cool story to all of the R1ders. Just nw i rode back from gf house and travelling at lornie rd towards braddell. Was cruising 80km/h centre lane, theres a bright light on the right lane n sound like motogp bike. Slow down n me focus in the rear right mirror n when i glance to the right, this R6 fly by like a rocket. Super zig zag in between traffic all the way. And that R6 tear off the busa. Yes busa. The busa cant keep up n cant zig zag. Wakakaka. Maybe to fat to squeeZe in. Hahaha. To my suprise, R6 can tear off the busa in a short period of time. Hahaha. Funny to see that busa get smoke by yammies.

i like this one...no offence to busa bros but i see alot of busa got torn by sportsbikes....its not that sportsbike are much powerful or wat but it really depends on the rider...really.....

Hi fellow R1ders... I would like to check whether any of u guys are using manual Cham chain tensioner(MCCT) on ya bike..confused on whether to get it or not...read reviews that it is much better than e stock automatic CCT as it prevents the cam chain from skipping due to sudden acceleration and hard deceleration...it also can save maintenance cost as it prevents bent valves which cost a bomb to replace..

 

Will need Ya advices... Thankz guys

Yes i was also adviced to changed, it will also reduce the tick tick start up sound from the timing chain for R1 09 - 11, thus i'm ordering online.. only cost me 95 dollars compared to some shops selling between 120 - 150.. tell me if u want can order together...

Yeah bro I wen to see ah tek earlier... First time there... And my bike also has e prob on start up...was paranoid about it but was advised it's normal...
