Yea, I'm exactly having the same thoughts. Contemplating whether to go for Yamaha R1/6 or Honda Cbr1000/600. For me it's pretty straight forward to get the R1, but would also like to know the difference with the other class 2 bikes.

Another question to ask the senior riders here, what are the range of legal exhausts for the R1?

Termi, Arrow, Leovince, Akropovic, etc. What are the price and specifications like? Which is the best and what kinda performance does it provide? Is there a good workshop that deals with all these exhausts to recommend?
