hey guys..alrdy orderin 1 honda tiger revo adjustable rack for a forum user nick Saibot...shud be arriving next wk..will post pics once he has installed it. pm me if u r interested..price wise abit pricy compare to the givi rack cos its heavier hence more sturdier n is custom made to fit ur bike..no need bracket whatsoever

 

pics would be nice. im curious on how it fits the bike and whether it wud obstruct anything.

Our bike got this problem with the fuel adjustment thing, which toggles from normal to reserve to off. The screw keeps coming loose ):

@Fredd Yes ordered on behalf of a friend riding a tiger actually. Kind of pricey but he's ok with it so yea thanks fredd. Oh ya was wondering what if one met with an accident, n where can the tiger be send for replacement of the damaged chasis, pipes, headlights. etc.etc. ?

I just inquired from mah motors on buying a new Honda tiger 200cc. was quoted $8500 all in. Tat inclusive of insurance 2nd party. Is this a good price? AS Phoon and heng Motors quoted approx. $8300 excluding insurance.

I'm not sure about the others, but when I bought my Tiger in 2010, its abt $8800 otr. Not including my 5% charge if paying installment. I'd say its a good price if $8500 all in.

Wat's the COE price at at time? The price quoted by Mah motors is base on current COE price of 1.6k(Ithink).

$8.5k sounds about right, ure not being carroted. btw, do ask the bike shop to align the dates for the insurance as well as the roadtax.

 

a common problem is that if its not aligned, we have to renew our roadtax on a 6month basis only. lol!

Thanks for the feedback. Yah, believe not a carrot but didn't realized it will be above 8.0k. Nope, hvent align on insur and roadtax yet but good rminder; tat's wat I usually do. Anyway, just inquiriing for now.....COE may drop as LTA increasing COE quota for Feb.

Thanks, I would assume ur higher price could be due to insurance?? The insurance they giving me is 2nd party...but since I'm way over 35yrs...ahem.......it should be the lowest price quote but they didn't breakdown the amt.

Well, if u bought it when u need it...think should be ok. For me, I can afford to wait since my current ride still going strong but reviewing bec wanted a ride with good FC and reliable.

Found out even boon siew do not have the parts mentioned "above" as ready stock. Need to fax orders.
