can anyone here kindly advise me where do you guys usually go for your bike servicing??

No timing chain.ST11 use belting. But can consider, EO, plugs.. Malacca is not that too far away but if your bike had not done any major servicing its best you have it done before leaving. Belting and coolant can be done together (take a couple of hours to replace belting and change coolant thermostat. Overheated engine(due to coolant system), flat battery or faulty fuel valve OR worst faulty alternator is something that we may not want to encounter. Bring along spares(plug, tire kit, fuse etc) if possible.

 

Thanks bro, BTW how much it'll cost for the belt replacement? n u mentioned coolant thermostart??? Will it cost a bomb? My old black bird was quoted near $400 to replace the internal and external thermostart..

protector u can get from biketech 21, power outlet can get from mtechnic (but its not the normal 12v ciggy socket)

hi Guys,

 

I have tried servicing my stx 1300 with Meng Tong since I got my bike 2 yrs ago. Would say he is skillful though if you tell him your bike problem. Other wise it is just normal servicing.

 

Does anyone know of a workshop that will do servicing as per recommended by the manufacturer/owners manual, like ceratin mileage change rubber hoses, etc etc, preventive maintenance.

Thinking of buying ST11 from shop, the miles is low for age, want to know if any one know history of this bike.

 

year 2000.

colour: blue.

Plate: FZ 22## but should be FR

Enormous Kentuky Fried Chicken Sticker on the right Side luggage.

After market screen.

Weird LED voltmeter.

 

The owner traded up to Fazer1K.

 

Any info on bike would be appreciated.
