isnt it yr responsibility to follow the rules when riding? y be afraid of us?:sian:

Imposters who get a kick out of being mistaken for a TP should have their head examine ,if you want , join the force , if not it is not very nice , sometimes a white car park at the expressway shoulder ,there we are doing 110/kmh & suddenly got to brake to slow down cos you thot it was a cop , how do we feel , same likewise the "bikercop" do to others !!! Btw ST owners what is the maintenance schedule for our shaft drive transmission oil 20,000km or 30,000km Thanks

just curious - would you buy a kevalr lined jeans if it was available in singapore (say around 140). thinking of bringing it in..just gauging the response first. Why? cos i thought that it was too damn difficult to order on line (rejected my non US credit card) and it was too damn expensive - about 200 a pop

so if you are keen - let me know - PM me with your waist size so i will know what the demand is and what sizes are in demand.

I usually ask these pple, do you mistaken all white cars to be TP as well?

I would also add to say that TPs don't use ST1100 for their bikes.

*Reason? I am suspecting cos they cannot handle it. :cheeky::sian:

It's usually not the bike, Check the Biker

Hi Simon,

Do you know where I can raise the handlebar of an ST1100 in Singapore?

Can try motorworld or purchase those handlebar risers from online ebay.

hi all... i'm considering upgrading either to a Deauville 650, Diversion 900, ST1100 or the FJR1300....

May i know what's the market like for the ST1100? I talked to a previous ST1100 owner who switched to an FJR1300 coz he said the spare parts take about a month to arrive...

There was another ST1100 owner who said the FC is pretty high (about 15-17km/l)....

so

1) any ST1100 sellers? and how much are u selling? Shops are selling between $5.5-7.5k...

2) what is the FC like?

3) r spare parts easy to come by? (e.g. side boxes damaged, where to obtain a new one/ repair them, spoilers available in the market)

Some riders fail to realise that we don't belong in the same Class....

We don't need to make ANY effort to attract attention on the roads." - a CHOSEN ONE

Price will differ from US or Pan Euro model and also what the owner has done to maintained the machine.

2) what is the FC like?

Depending on riding style. But most should be able to hit close to 400km range. Carb maintainence, plugs and normal wear and tear services maintainence should compensate for a better milleage.

3) r spare parts easy to come by? (e.g. side boxes damaged, where to obtain a new one/ repair them, spoilers available in the market)

Parts are easily available from local stockist such as Boon Siew, FJT, Eversuccess... OF course if the parts are those hard to come by it may take time to order. From belting replacement to alternator replacement...locally they have the parts.

they have red ones for fire brigade, white for traffic police and black (actually dark gray) for VIP bodyguards. I personally chatted with a few of them before while in KL last year.
