Even a honda cub can go touring. And its even rated as the WORLDS BEST BIKE..... Hhahahah... So be specific. Class 2 or 2A... Purely road touring or the best of both worlds...

depends lah if ure not fussy and still young, use a liter bike also can go touring

To me i think the best bike for sg road use is a k5/k6 gsxr1000, but i loved my gsxr 400 so naturally gonna stick with suzuki :)

i think any bike can go touring...but obviously you will tour rather differently with a tw200 versus an f800gs.

i remember reading about someone who went to cambodia on a fazer on this forum...was it p-plater?

Yes of course any bike can go the distance but can they travel on sandy road.. I ever did go to phuket with my k8 1000 and it was hard.. Back pain.. backside blister.. neck also pain..

ok class 2 bike.. Gs and ducati is not for middle class earner.. Would prefer 20k plus..

Ducati multistrada and BMW F800GS both cost 20k plus second hand (a couple of years old).

no such thing as best la, everyone got preferences. but i would stick with touring bikes, since they're meant for long distance riding and are engineered to perform that way. relaxed riding position, rev range etc.

i would go for a Triumph sprint ST. fantastic looking bike with a fantastic price tag.

February 2011 - March 2012 = Phantom TA 200

March 2012 - August 2013 = Suzuki Impulse 400

Present = BMW (Bus, MRT, Walk)
