it dont hit the exhaust...it sits on the exhaust mainstand stopper dude...

and the best thing, when the bike is on mainstand, you can tilt it a little and turn the bike 180deg turn while its still on mainstand...:thumb:

Hellow my dear cutie 'pie'.....Wakekeke....... bloody gay :puke:

Mr. Leong will do the MO cos.......sign...... tell u some other time

Sorry guys. MO for the screen will carry on after my married (After 25th may). :cheeky:

Now the price has gone up. It cost $190 to $200 depends on the AUD exchange rate.

The price is like AUD$118 + AUD$23 = AUD$141 x 1.5% = AUD$2.12 = AuD$143.12 x 1.4 = SGD$200.27 :faint:

Anyone interested? Put down ur name.

Hi... I'm new to TDM and would wonder if any of you TDM owners can help. I'm looking into acquiring a enduro bike:

1. Can TDM be ridden off-road etc... hard-sandy ground kind of road... not those muddy places for scrams... If the original wheels can't, is there alternative to it?

2. Can the TDM seat height be lowered? What are the needful aftermarket accessories? I'm about 1.6M so taller bikes is a challenge.

Thanks in advance

Hey man...good to know you have same interest in Dual Sporting the TDM.

I have been riding DS bike all my life.so as much as i love riding the dirt,i have done something to the TDM to do a little dirt.

I know the TDM engine has the capabilities for that, since its parallel twin engine comes from its ancestor the XTZ750tenere which has been winning the Dakar right after the BMW and before the KTM stole it.

It has grunt, the right torque just like those V-twins.but it has some minus factor for it to be dirt orientated.i've taken some steps to it.

1.Tyres came off first.I've replaced the rear tyre to dual sport tyres,1st i've tried the Metz Tourance, those used on other big trailies.currently i am using the Michelin Anakee.which is much cheaper...but once this wear off,i switch back to Tourance.as i feel that the anakee is a killer on wet surface which i encounter during my last trip to Phuket.

Front,i was using the Pirelli Scorpion MT-90 which is used on Vara125.becoz its the only 18inch front tubeless dual sport tyre.however,it has a speed rating which not exceeding more than 150km/hr.i've tested to 196km/hr with pillion but witout side panniers.Currently i am using Michelin Sirac.but its actually rear tyre converted to front and its tube type.it has to be reversed to put to the front.the tread pattern looks more fantastic than the Pirelli scorpion.but there's 2 type of the Sirac.i took the one that has speed rating not more than 160km/hr.which i then realised that there's one more which able to take more than 180km/hr.The mech installed tube in it.

However, also during the last phuket trip,i found that my front is wobbling quite bad at 150km/hr.not sure if its the front tyre,or the alu pannier which i've just installed,or becoz i've just taken out the handlebar balancer..

other than tyres,if you just simply want to do light off-rd which wont come to mudpools,i think add an after market end-cans would be a great combo.it gives more punch to the torque, lightweight and a little higher mounted.

Oh,if you buy bike that is stock, get the handlebar changed to the Honda Africa Twin stock bars.they are more forward.and add some riser and a handguards.

An added crashbar would be better for some protection.if you plan off-rd,and riding fast pace, not to use the tall windshield.the givi screen is ideal height.

From here, you're ready for gravel, sandy roads.

need some photos to prove?

 I never knew that can be done to a TDM! Thanks "Virus".... I dun think I would go to that extreme. Plus I'm short so I dun think both of my legs can touch the ground at the same time in such terrain. Hence, I asked about lowering the seat height... Am still exploring my options.

Btw, the TDM in the YouTube is using spokes rims with tube-tires?? Thanks again.

Hi AJ.. thanks for the details, it helped me understand TDM's capabilities more now. Qns: I can see that the TDM in the pic is using sports rims. Isn't sports rims unsuitable for dirt road? It is less sturdy isn't it?

I'm used to touring at speeds of 180kph and above. Not sure if I can get used to 150kph on a TDM on highways though.
