Windscreen option and ideas..

 

Someone from the Oz...

 

G'day. I already introduced myself in Hyde Park & said I had an idea for TDM 900's so here it is.

I love everything about my new TDM except for the horrendous wind pressure & noise in my Helmet. The standard screen is OK if your around 5'7" or less but at 6' the stream of wind

hits me right at visor level. I've looked at several screen options & according to others on these forums they vary in their effectiveness. IMHO they also look pretty ugly & don't really fit

the lines of the bike well.

So, based on my experience with the V-Strom windscreen issues I decided to have a go at designing my own screen & mounting system for the TDM.

 

This is just a prototype which I tested recently in very strong gusty winds. It's is a major improvement over the stock screen.

Ermmmm guys... big favor to ask.. I really cannot miss church this Sunday.. Can we meet at 1130am instead? Church ends at 11 and will rush across to meet u guys asap.. Can?

lets start.

 

Sunday.7am at GP petronas.why early morning,becoz its cooling,and it would be an awesome view with the morning view and the sunrise.

We refuel and start riding....I've yet to explore further...We would be riding in Nusajaya.

I think by 11am,we take breakfast at Pendas,by 12.30pm we do the bikewash...

I like this beauty by the river best... but how come they travel without crash guards and belly pan... even tho their terrain is rougher than ours... and so light... unlike us at least 43L if wan-to-go-thailand distance...
