opps.. I sound angry? LOL!

I wasnt la..

It's not the "total x no. of years" because it is "interest per year" and on the "compounding interest" principal.

Well if Interest x number of years. For a 12k for five years, It's like 12K x (5% x 5 ) = $15K Then monthly will be 15k / 60 = $250 per month

If is another type, it will be 13K/5 = 2.6k each year then add with interest will be 2.6k x 5% = $2730 per year. Hence monthly is 2730/12 = $227.5 per month

Dude, standard is, 5% for each your you are taking. So for 5years, 5yearsX5%=25%

($12000x125%)/100=$15000 (Total amount with interest loan)

$15000/60=$250 per month.

But advise is, don't take too long loan.

Like it or not, 2B bikes are more dangerous in Singapore compared to bigger CC bikes. It's a fact coz I get to see accidents every single day. So yes, a bigger bike doesn't mean it's more dangerous.

I got my at 750 first hand. Talk to Mr Lee.

http://www.singaporebikes.com/forums/showthread.php/344910-WTS-R125-Yamaha-Biggest-2B-Sports-Bike!

Research first lah.. Aiyo..

It's compound interest. So it's every single year 5%. My was 4% from Mr Lee.

by the way, who is mr lee, find him sure 4% interest and $750 for LV FS first hand? bring me go please!

Mr lee is the owner of looi's. One of the older man there, quite short and talks nicely :)

He will be on the level where there are used bike.

Well... It is the same across all motorcycle trade.

the number of % in interest TIMES the number of years and then your loan.

For example

10,000 bike

down payment 2000 (Full figure of insurance must be in your downpayment)

8,000 loan.

4% per year, loan for 4 years (48 months)

So it will be..

4% x 4years = 16%

Total loan repayable =116% x 8,000 = 9,280

installment per month = 9,280 / 48 = 193 for 47 months + 209 for 48th month.

**Caution**

Some bike shop will charge an "early settlement" fee or whatever they can call it.

That is the % or a lump sum should you decided to

1) pay fully less than the stipulated loan period

2) sell your bike before it "break-even"

Policy is pretty troublesome. I suggest you get more advise for things to look out upon :)
