You can use Vtec 3 one also. Price at least $900+ which ever version. Long time ago I asked..PB1 was $980!

 

Other option KYB : $550

Ohlin : 1) $1,050 2) $1,650

Morning cannot start bike, so i thought battery gone. No time to do anything so I took bus to school.

 

Reach home, I took out the old battery and put in a new one. The new battery i bought from a forumer early this year for $25. But, no light, horn, and of course cannot start. Knn, I wondered if i had beeen cheated by the seller.. cos it seemed like the 'new' battery was dead!

 

So i went to bt merah and bought a new one. The shop filled the battery with acid (all these first time i see, as i never replace battery before), and CHARGED IT!!!

 

Because I didnt know that battery must charge before use, I paid an extra $55 for this new one...

erm... new battery actually no need to charge one. just pour in the acid then let it sit for an hour or so then connect the cable can liao

u need to be young and reckless to become old and wise..... if u survive :angel:

:slapforehead: ...alamak!,,,why don't you push start the bike. After ride to your school..be cahrged again by then. As fort he bought 'new' battery...you cannot keep in store. The charge won't hold and eventuallt get dissipated. Next tme, put back in and push start..it as good as new when fully charge.:sian:

Yeah.. i think all the charge in the new battery got dissipated. I jus used a voltmeter.. 0 Volts!!

The battery didnt state 'non-maintainance'. So i guess must charge first?

Crap.. now got a new battery sitting at home. Keep for the next 2 years. Lol

What S4 are you riding?..if non-vtec..its probably the speedometer cable..its not electrical.

ah pek, my bike is ready for touring man.. superb X1r.. realli werks lah..i'll be departing in a few days time... thanx bro..

 

Ooi!...X-1R will take care of your gear box and engine..but you bettr take care of yourself mannn! How are the new brake pads doing...good feel and better stopping?

I tot you tried the Malaysia repacked ones from Autobac...or was it one nick call "Xdir"?

Everyting's good to go.. never felt my bike in tis condition b4.. carb wash & tuned, eo using maxima extra 15w50 added with 6oz X1R concoction. engine ice, Front & rear tyres Metzeler m1 sportec up by 1 size up, throttle cable left only 1(the other's missing), so got to replace both. spark plug ows iridium, spec3 after market headlight.. all wheel bearing changed. all brake pas changed & finally chain & sprocket(RK X ring)abit on budget.

 

Bike's outstanding response like a crazy bull, speed pick up & distance speed have changed.. getting to 53hp faster was possible after all.. no more out funny or draggy noises.. only hear the exhaust & the horns of cars chasing behind ur ass..

 

Will snapped a few pics wen im there & post it here.. Pray for me old man.. & pls reserve another bottle for me aite.. :cheeky: hehehe
