Congratulations!:cheeky: ..make sure you have some sort of "warranty" and make sure you get what you paid for in good conditions.

 

bought from a a fellow bro from this forum..i've lost faith in all bikeshop that sells bikes in singapore already..rather buy from pvte seller :)

 

bike seems in great condition, only second owner he own the bike for 8 years ~wow

 

anyway hope to join you guys in outings in the future~ :)

Ah...back on home ground and safe :) How did the the eo with X-1R and green oil did for you?..the hotter the better?

Oh yesh very superb.. My bike did not fail me man.. Smooth engine all the way through... Ride my ver S with my fren's spec3, he was 1 bike distance behind me trying to catch up.. Old bike.. crazy power.. managed to ride abt 180km speed for abt 1h45mns.. all the way 140-160km. will definitely go again..

wah....read till page 60 nia...seems like coolant and oil very impt... any guys here taking the $180 silicon hose package? i signed up for it liao. dun noe about s4 but my previous ride g4 (also old bike) alot of coolant problem...so now want make sure coolant system tip top..for engine oil...is it netter to put the top grade one? heard ppl say older bikes dun need put so good one...

There is no such thing as "top grade" lah. Higher vicosity is better for old bikes because there are more ;gaps' due to wear ad tear thru uses over its years of usage. Use 20/50w if you ride normally and an occassional spin..otherwise 10/40W be good for up country ride.

 

Next you should have grounding...check if previous owner does it already. Can read about grounding in my post.

Oic...now remember...last time no MRT yet lah. The last time I went there was when HDB hub shut down and move to Toa Payoh..blur blur go there..don't even know it move at that time..that's how long I have been there since that that..LOL!

That's right..turn off along Depot road. There ia an International school inside. Also saw the bridge that buld above trees!...one of this day must go and Jalan there mannn!..and feed mosqutoes..:cheeky:

hehe now my next target is the laos trip.. dunno if my bike can withstand the solid pressure or not.. btw will meet up wit u soon..:angel:

I think Laos is still in turmoil status because of Juntas problem in Myama..not sure. The last time the border was close.

Don't wipe it off..let it sit as long till your next wash. Do about once a month and after sometime..the surface can stay black and nice for quite a while bekuz of the natural dried film build up (IMHO).
