guys...just finished 1 full tank (not including reserve) on my ver S...mileage onli 300km leh...meaning 15 litre 300km..1litre onli 20km nia..what is the normal mileage for version s ar? my route everyday is about 30+km to and fro work. seldom go in expressway these days. is my mileage normal? Thanks alot~!

Today, when I reached the petrol kiosk to refuel, I had an amazing 405km mileage on a full tank (which makes me proud of my bike :) ). I think can get a few more km before reserve, but since i reached the petrol station already, i didnt find out how many more km the bike could go.

Maybe its the stp oil treatment i added on my recent oil change (recommended by ah pek), new clutch plates, pump tyres to correct pressure.. A lot of variables indeed..

Hi just to check the STP oil treatment you are referring to is it on the petrol or engine oil? Thanks

Its used with the engine oil.

But this is the first time im using it, so I cant speculate on the long-term effectiveness. My previous mileage on average is abt 370km/full tank and I have never managed to pump 18L before. Usually I manage to squeeze in abt 16L.

wah okok..just want to c wats the avg fc of version s lor..if my consumption on the high side den maybe can do some corrective action.. :cheeky:

Thanks!

There are no such thing as fixed for FC..unless you want to follow Japanese specs mileage of constant 90km on flat road test. Between 17km/ltr to 21 km/ltr is very normal to me (IMHO)..varies from ride road conditions, to bike configuration...etc. Those that achieved so claimed 23km/ltr to 30km/ltr..their bike must be very special or the way they ride is..especially if its a "constant"..:sorry:

Just to add : make sure not to thick when added..best at 1 can to 4 to 5 liters of eo.

Two red T10 LEDs will do unless you wanna lite flood the surface dial..use "strip type" leds placed around the diameter of the scaled dial inside the meter.

dude, grab fp60 at raceweks. it works for me tho! some tried ah pek's x1r and got good results out of it.

and now i'm gonna miss my version s. i'm giving the bike to my dad and i'm grabbing a spec 1. sigh. no more 24km/litre mileage.

I'd rather get a Leo Vince than a Louis Vuitton.

Ah Pek.. X1R and STP which is better?

They are two different thing.

X-1R is a friction eliminator and metal conditioner.

STP is a vicoisty enhancer (increase the "W" rating thus making the eo thicker).

Each has its own advantage and can be a mixed. If there is a better and only one to choose..of course its X-1R lah.
