My place the town council also very on..

So far already 3 times while I was washing bike/routine servicing under void deck when the official came. Always the same fella, but he is very understanding. Tell me that 'friendly neighbours' complain, so he has to investigate. Since I will stop whatever im doing and move back to the carpark, he has never summoned me before.

Anw, why not go to a nearby multi-storey carpark instead? A bit leceh to carry all the things, but less likely to be 'disturbed'

Bro its hard to figure out by the model. guess.. yurs should be version S.

Regarding the coolant issue, i recommend to use the Engine Ice Hi-performance coolant. Its oil base, so it tends to lubricate and prevent rusts at certain areas. Do a 1 time radiator flush and top yur coolant. Can able to last u abt 6 mths then top up again.(assuming no leaking)

Using it for my Ver S also... so far no probs.

Got a pic to show?..otherwise, I should think that its a version S. But tat does not says anything. I know a chap who bought a Ver S but with a Ver "R" tank and meter.

Coolant..the more expensive the better the boiling temperature. Normal coolant temp is about 128 degree F and product like Engine Ice is 256 degree..thus topping up is less to worry. There is even one that never boils!..temp rating is 375 degree F thus you don't even worried about it evevaporating...so not topping out for years.

So in summary..the lower the temp and depend on your use of the bike, there is no timming as when to top up. If you do courier service job and runs around the city traffic a lot..at least go for engine ice. Home to work and on hi-way to and fro..normal stqndard Kiosk one will do.

The gees of it is..just check your coolant occasionally...top up when the level is low.

As for coolant, you have to know what you are buying...comes in two form.."Concentrated" or "premixed". For concentrated ones, you have to use "distilled water" pure or deionised water (all this have impurities removed) to mixed with, ratio usually 1:3 or 50/50. Just remember never to use tap or mineral water or the radiator will RUST.

For premixed, you can get from any kiosk or like those of Engine ice and Cool-Aide, just pour it in.

Ver R comes with a "cowling" and the tandk and meter is different because it don't have a "fuel gauge". Also the power cut-off detection circuitory is different from Ver S. Other than this, all non Vtec is the same.

morning ah pek! the kerosene worked fine last night man , all's clean. look also song.

haha anyway the merguire someparts every effective , some parts not significant result.

in any case , i guess it's because i didn't put in enough effort.

for the shouldering of the wires , how long does it take? would it be convience for you to help me on that soon? or can i use glue to stick the wire back touching the sensor?

u know , my fuel sensor burn out , riding without SPEED display is fine , however , i'd need the speedo up and running so that my mileage can jump and i can pump petrol accordingly.

opening the oil fuel cap to look inside can be pretty misleading , got stuck once totally out of petrol.

please kindly advice next course of action.

Not to worry..keep polishing once a week for 6 months..your blink_blink would really be outstanding..to a stage that at 12 noon sun, you have to wear a sunglass to recognise your bike

Yes, you can use those epoxy steel glue..as long as the red wire sit in contact..may be you wanna do that for a DIY remedy.:cheeky:

Hard to say..much like PB1 since it launched, it has 3 models series in its progress. Ver S has special edition like their Anniversary model.

Have to be more innovative. Have to look at it first and probably dismantled it to do a proper job. If the red wire is too short, use an extension. It's easy as an approach to the solution but not easy..may require tools and time to have it done properly.

Not sure if the one I can introduce would wanna do it but no harm trying. As for theitems required like LED signal etc...you have to bring them along..probably there will be labour cost incurred.
