1) How long have you own this bike?

2) Is the end can stock?

3) Since what have you done when you acquired the bike..like eo change, spark plug, coolant check and last but not least oil filter condition.

4) Any idea if the carbs has ever been dismantled for servicing purpose.:sian:

1. i own this bike since december 08

2. end can stock

3. what have i done ? not much except for servicing . and within this short period of time , i buang twice . ( blame 1 time for a J plate bike for appearing out of nowhere and another time i buang was because i was trying to smell wad type of diesel the bus was using)

4. carbs ? not sure lar bro . most of the time my dad settles for me . i recently decide to be responsible after my dad parting with about $1.3k becoz of my accidents..

One thing at a time. If you know how to diy..take out your spark plug and check for wetness or residue clogs..if you want to be sure, have a new set of standard plugs.

Even if it did...you were likely on the move andyou won't know...LOL!

Its ok la..probably there are empty pockets in the water jacket or system that taken some of the coolant up when its circulates.

Xiaoban..what makes you think that changing fork oil at $35 is expensive? Do you know what kind of work is actually invovle and the tools need to get it done? Why would you wanna do a package servcing of fork that includes fork oil seala and dust cover chnage when your fork seal is not at all leaking?....hmmmm :sian:

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car

and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall,

torque is how far you take the wall with you.

****. i'm having the same problem as you hanxx.

small little backfiring from the pipe when during idling. though it sounds very soft but its very irritating. feels as though something is wrong.

it happens only after i forgot to rev the engine before switching it off, thus causing a very loud backfire. after the backfire i tried to crank the engine again, it works fine @ neutral but once I engaged to first gear, the engine stalled. this happens for 2 - 3 times, before i can finally move off.

it sounds as though something is choked within the carbs within itself and fuel can't be ignited.

at first gear, when throttling. it feels as though the engine is very very cold and has no power at all, like going to stall anytime that kind of feeling.

any solution?

1.liquid engineering to clean the carbs?

2.service the carbs?

3.re-tune the engine?

4.bring down to motordiam to figure it out?

I think you need to warm up the engine before engage, 2-3 mins will do. Open throttle a little to keep engine rpm@1000 - 1500 after start engine, for 30s or 1 min, engine should be able to keep running after that. Let it run for 2mins or so, then engage.

Need not to do any thing for this problem, this is pretty normal for older engines, even a on some newer engines.

For the backfiring problem, a carb tuning work may solve it.

i guess my backfiring not as bad as yours even though i have a micron endcan - dont know if its tuned with the machine.

anyway,i did carb wash, used valve cleaner - problem still exist.

until recently i changed my plugs - now everything okay.

suddenly very smooth in fact.

i use ah pek humble EO blend and grounding - WONDERFUL.

now my ride is doing good - no more backfiring.

though at times might have 'a little only'.

maybe u can try to meet up ah pek the following week - see what he can suggest lor.

otherwise, planet boss is friendly and good also, very experienced and good service good price.

approach him and see what he can suggest you to do - im gg there for fork servicing this weekend.

goodluck, hope ur problems can be solved.:thumb:

My front head, the Speedo Meter glass cracked, and the Speedo/Rpm cover oso cracked. And my Headlight dented to the left side. Currently using a rubber band to tie around my Speedo/Rpm cover to tong awhile.

Since my front so jialat.. tinking of changing the whole head to rxz head.

Any recommendations and roughly how much will it cost? or is there any better alternatives?

speedo and rpm is working fine.. but the whole thing is dam cui. (its like going to drop out anytime soon!) so currently using rubber band the tie around it to make sure it donn't fall off.

ps: the crack is like a shootgun bullet shoot thru the speedo glass

Since your speedo and rpm meters are working fine..just replace the glasses and its to rim covers. The meter assembly are composed of about 6 seperate parts.

As for your headlamp..it not recommended to use the Sai_Tow. The bulb use is not bright enough and not H4. If you are tight on budget..get a chiong Vetec 3 type headlamp..about $150 (originanl is about $280+ I think with Stanely USA made quality glass) and make sure you have the neccessary mounting accessories to fit. ne disadvantage is that the glass and reflector will be foggy after some use. Otherwise, if your headlamp is partialy dmaged, just replace the individual parts..its composed of the headlamp cover with glass and the back chrome housing for a PB1.
