hai guys, new rider to S4 Ver S.. need to know:

1) wad is top service?

servicing of the tensioner and valve clearance

 

2) how much does a full overhaul cost?

ard 1.5k?

 

3) can a vtec footrest be fitted on a Ver S?

think the bracket got a bit of difference. not too sure

 

4) Wants to fix a mainstand, is it possible? if so, where can i do it? and the cost?

spec 2 and 3 possible. the rest not too sure. $150 with install

Currently I got two Halogen H4 bulb brand new..not Philip ones "Pro Light" made in UK..$12 but the light is "white" in colour.."E" approved (whatever that is).

Sorry my friemd..have never come to that yet. Is there a third party replacement fan for S4?..have not heard of it myself.

 

Most of our fan may be working but the electrical stator coil is very much out of commission and the power for rotation is kind of weak. Looks like I have to get a new fan myself one of these days. New ones can really hear them "churning"!

just sent the bike back to the bike shop and complained on ignition that can't be locked.

 

they are saying that they will replace the keys and a whole lot of bullshit.

 

so i confirm saturday to be white led lights and grounding?

As i remember last time while i riding a scooter, i got overheat probs, the mechanic just get another fan and fix it near the radiaitor and it solve my overheating probs. therefore i got 1 permanent on fan to cool it all the time while the other fan will on when it really boil.

U can do that but if you are talking about PC's fan..forget it. Its the size and angle of the propeller blade that is important..of course with a power motor taht can be 12v dc driven. If you are just adding a smaller one to your present one..make sure its adequate but again, better than nothing...PC's fan doesn't help.
