anyone able to explain why branded exhaust has diff type for v tec and non v tec? is there any difference in for EG: headers or ETC? just wanna know cos for stock pipe i'm using k3 which i believe is from spec 3 right? thanks.

haha ok what i'm trying to ask is i'm riding a version S and my stock pipe is k3 which i believe is what spec 3 bikes are using also...and usually when we search for pipes like yoshi gpr and others.... y the same pipe example yoshi fire spec r categorised version s or vtec....pipes like scorpion r only for vtec but not for non vtec...

 

so the main question is why they have such category when my stock pipe is the same as vtec 3s pipe...

hmmm.........ok spec 3 stock exhaust is k3 which is correct, 4 my spec 2 its k2 indented on the pipe....and 1 more thing is not all spec stock exhaust r interchangable.tried to fit a spec 1 stock on my spec 2 , canot lol

Bro,

i got my (13 yrs old) Vers S last Sept. Changed to oil with Full Syn, told it can last abt 3 mths (abt 1000km/mth). After 2 mths, heard many good things on Ah Pek EO+X1R, went to tried them. They were good. It's been 5 mths now (abt 5000km), still don't feel like i need to change EO. Many commented can last 10,000km, intended to change them at yr end. You should give it a try. Shouldn't be wrong changing to his EO. How can so many ppl be wrong.

Probably the non-vtec bikes are considered about absolete liao :sian: Of course when you are in the market..one manufacturer would want to make things for the latest or most possible recent model. I supposed all non Vtec are mroe than 10 yrs now..or soon to be and not as much exist..yeah..becoming 'dinosaurs' :angel:

hmmm meaning to say older version models exhaust cnt be mounted on new bike while new version's exhaust can be mounted on old bike?

 

ok i think i'm confusing with my too many exhaust here and there....lets say...a yoshi pipe....for example stainless steel yoshi pipe for honda super 4 cb400. can it be mounted on all kinds of cb400 super 4?

Go to Seng Kwang at AutoPoint..look for Gilbert..they can do it but cost $$$s!

1 tink wierd is erm , my yoshi fire spec can fit on both spec 1 n spec 2 and 3, but original pipe canot inter swap , some of them i mean

Bekuz Yoshi wants to make $$$$s mah. If you have one that fits all..means non-standard liao..better stick to stock for all round performance.:sian:

yeah ah peh is rite.......wif yoshi i tried on my spec 2, can drag till 13k must change gear liao cause the bike coughing lol wif stock pipe hor i can drag pass 13k easily n change gear.....the only thing bad is stock dont have the power on demand, tats all , and 1 more thing stock pipe SAVE FUEL!!!!!

Hi ppl,

I went overseas for 3 weeks, came back and the batt was drained. Got the buzz sound when push the starter button. Bike easily roars to life when push started. Will the batt charge itself when riding?

ah pek i go hunt around , my lcd problem can be fixed but 80 bucks lol.....i give up the idea liao , use as it is, the mech say burnt liao.....cause by intense sunlight

hi all,

 

I was riding my pb1 normally along PIE into Clementi/AYE upslope bend when suddenly my front tire wobbled and I almost crashed into the side and almost got run over by a nissan sunny. Luckily the sunny was far enough to block the road while I steadied myself.

 

question to ask is.... any bros / sis have the same experience? Tire problems? Lousy tire (some 'King' tire brand) or fork problems? need fork brace?? was quite slow, I think not exceeding 65 km/hr along the bend.

 

scared the **** out of me....

 

Oh yeah. before I forgot..Thanks to Ah Pek... your coolant is superb... idling much better and moving off much smoother now.. :)

There are only the following things I can think of...

 

1) Check your rims..it may be damaged and not sitting the tyre properly.

 

2) If there is no sudden air leak due to a puncture by cuts to the tyre..do check the main axle of your wheels if it had been properly tighten...and also if your wheel bearings are ok.

 

3) Never heard of the tyre brand..better see to it, may not be the right fit tubless type for S4.
