hi, need some advise here. my right front fork is leaking badly even after a oil seal replacement, i notice a scatch on the lower fork tube. is there somewhere that i can send for polishing to remove the scatch? its leaking oil to my brakes and tires.got to fix it before i start riding again.

No choice..have to have this upper stanchion fork tube replace...cost about $150-$180 I think. Best u buy it urself or get a quote and have a good motoiam do it. Ur recent replacement seal etc..can still be use but make sure the fork oil level is the same as the other one. NEVER reuse this tube again or polish..u be wasting hard earned $$$s.

Ah pek eveyr morning I start my bike. Got some knocking sound. Why ah. After warm up no more sound

Hi people, i need an opinion as I am likely facing the same problem where there's this clattering sound when i start the engine and leave it to idle.

I need help to identify a part, went to check at a workshop, mech told me that i need to change a part (pardon me as i totally forgot the name of it). He pointed to a part which is in front of the engine beneath the tank. I can see it behind the carburetor from the right side on my bike. Any idea what is called and is he right?

Sound more like a cam timing change slack or cam chain tensioner gone liao..since its claterring not ticking sound.

Thank ah pek. Think should be it! If it's gone i guess i have to get it replaced right? Just wonder what would happen if i ride without and how much it would cost. He said it will cost more than $100 and would take half a day to replace cause needs to remove tank and engine etc. Sounds complicated or is it suppose to be fairly easy?

If it's just carb balancing..should cost around $40. Most mototiam can do it.

When was ur magneto coil last changed? Did u check your fuse box for the 10 Amp fuse that power the signal line, meter, horn..etc? Check for proper tightness at your battery terminal oso.

hi guys. i'm thinking of changing my vtec 2 to ver s soon. wat must i check for?

U already own a Vtec 2 b4..its all about the same. Just make sure the one u buy comes in a good state as your past S4. Look out for coolant leakage on the side holes of the fin (both side) and make sure there is colours for the coolant. If its tap water..it transparent and if it does leak.u won't notice it. Make sure the suspension is good and not leaking..and SHOWA at least of course. Make sure the $s you fork out is worth the status and equipment of the bike, even the battery (no white fungus corrosion at the terminal)..COE is freaking high now..expect the price to be high..if its low..the more you should check out the bike.
