Simple..just lower ur headlamp to gain access to your meter bottom cover and unscrew the three screws despending on version of ur S4. Plaug the bottom cover out and you can change all the bulbs you want by just pulling off the rubber bulb sockets (grey i colours). May want to replace to LED white type (bright & good..red oso can in ur screen plate scaling reading is red). Small bulb is equivalent to T5 LEDs..larger bulb is T!) LEDs.

Bottom left near the gear shift just next to the primary front geart cover. Has two coolant hose connected to a round shape..that's the pump cover.

Simple..just lower ur headlamp to gain access to your meter bottom cover and unscrew the three screws despending on version of ur S4. LED bulb can get from Sim Lim Tower (not Sim Lim Square). Many types but the expensive one last better. Taiwan made will do. Japan ones very expensive but really reliable. The T5 ones (replace smaller bulbs) are harder to find but have..just asked.

 

As for teaching..I think I have explain it all in my previous post..but you still blur..have to wait till I'm available at my convient..like doing someone bike and I can show you..no problem.

 

If it's the meter screen plate you talking about..u can get it from places like Chong Aik, FJT or Forever Success..these are the few I know but I believe there are other sources that deals only in spare parts not mototiam. Scrap yard is the best for reasonable cheap replacement.

"..isit a common issue for water pump leaking in ver s?"...My answer is "NO"..and if I have to follow with a statement..it is a common issue that most riders do not how to look after their rides.

 

One careful approach u have to do these days when buying second S4...mototiam will always tell you this and that like got problem then come back. But let me tell this to all..its too late when once the money is transacted. These days..most mototiam buy over cheap from seller who are desperate to sell or trade for a forseen faulty machine. They don't do anything or be corrective to make the bike good and safe for riding..just sell first..got problem than talk later. The f*%^ing **** is that they don't give a damn after the bike is purchased..it becomes ur problem..u want..you paid for the repair needed..one reason they sell the bike so consider 'cheap'...but actually u bought a machine that need some major repair.

Hi William aka AH PEK, base on ur expertise like to know what will cause front brake to tighen up when the weather is hot i.e upon parking and also now slowly start to like not very fast release.

 

HISTORY

Had change brake spring ,serv pump and serv caliper liao when my front brake 1st fail to release and it hv to wait awhile then it release slowly......

Not yet but very scare as last time i do all the change & serv, at 1st is ok but after awhile still comes back. They also sand alittle on my master brake kit housing where the spring is. Don't know want to change master brake kit beside chng the hose.

Brother william ,these few days encountering my bike gear Change Liao throttle up the power deliver is jerky leh, throttle from off to abit will feel jerky then more gas not jerky Liao , my air filter long time never wash Liao ,could it be the problem??

1. Most of them do not know what "T10 / T5" is..you have to see how the bulb base size looks like or bring a sample. Anyway..its very common these days lah.

 

2. Have to release (not necessary to unscrew off fully) the two bolts (screws) from the headlamp attachment to the headlamp bracket that is mounted to the upper front fork..then gently push down for space to work on the meter base.

Its ur chain adjustment likely on the over slack side of it. Air filter has nothing to do wif it. Do a readjustment for ur chain tension...DIY..don't go Ah Fook..he always adjust too tight...IMHO.

Metal?..they are either aluminum or stainless steel. The one u see on a PB1 is Stainless steel and never rust. Aluminum have to get the hard one. What's wrong wif ur original impact plastic? You change only if u want blink_blink otherwise..the original one is just as good.

Testing for steadfast handle to fork balance is not done this way. Your handle wobble is because of only these common reasons..wrong tyre air pressure..uneven tyre wear and tear due to wrong tyre pressure..wheel bearing damaged..out of alignment front fork refit on the top and base fork bracket (loose) after a fall or head-on collision. SOme ppl think it has to do with cone bearing..No!

 

Ride with both hand on bar..plse. There is nothing to test.

LOL actually no release both hand la...i'm still throttling....but holding very lightly on the throttle and it keeps shaking...it was on rough road though...

 

later on then i tried on smooth rd...and it only shake at times...

 

i added rear hugger ma....then the plastic part of the chain guard there broke....so gotta get a new one....not those blink blink de la...haha...just wanna get a normal aluminium one then attached to my hugger....
