cant be swapped.. for the oil tank, u have to practically unscrew the tank cap n fix it to ur bike. in tat way u still use ur old key to unlock the tank cap. for the side panel, as for my knowledge, i dun tink it can be swapped.

juz wanna ask a few qns. i want to change my headlite bulb. currently its a bit dim. still normal but i wan brighter. is there any ways of makin it brighter besides 1) grounding 2) changing to a spec3 headlite set.?

 

also a few qns :-

 

1) wat diff is H4 N H7 Bulb?

2) can fix on my verS rxz headlite without any modifications or changing socket?

3) will it consume battery more?

i assume ur riding verS or below, so to my knowledge, u take out the side panels, the keylock is bolt onto ur bike mainframe. so u still still retain n can use ur old keys. unless ur talkin bt changing the whole bike frame which i doubt so then its not possible. juz my 2 cents.

Yah bro ,i'm riding a Ver R .Wat i mean is if i want to swop a painjob with some1 else but i want to retain my current oil tank cap & side panel lock using only 1 key, it's possible right ? hope u understand my poor grammar

haha of coz can. like i said, dun forget to transfer the oil tank cap. if not u cant open the oil cap. other than tat shuld be ok. i did a paintwerk swap too. everythin went fine. gd luck!!

2) in e 1st place , if ur goin for cosmetic purpose rather than safety purposes,

by replacing e ORI headlite won't help

3) wat u mean by consume battery?

but for watever reasons ur battery is used for , advisable to hav it check/replace every 1.5 - 2 years .

 

hope my ans can shed a bit of light to ur passage.

haha bro.. never go workshop la.. everythin diy.. wit some help from frens though.. everythin done in abt 2 hrs. 2 person workin on each bike. but take note its from ver s to ver s.. mayb other vtec to ver r might take longer? not so sure.. but if u dun wan hands get dirty send workshop la.. hope this helps.

ok point noted. for the light. can consider safety purposes. see the white headlite like bright leh.. good when goin malaysiia.. u know their roads how.. n i also frequent there.

 

wat i meant by consume battery is i noticed that these hid bulbs have 1200k or dunno wat k. so was just wondering if it had anythin to do wif the battery consumption. heard rumours tat using hid will make ur bike batt decrease life span. juz wanna confirm only.. thanks for the help though..

Yea true. MY system scratched and all ah. and dent on headers from previous owner.

 

One more question, can a helmet lock located under the left side of the tailboard be fixed on a Ver S, as like the vtec 2 and 3? Has anyone done it before and for how much?

now who told u that? if the guy who fixed the hose dunno how to bleed properly of course lah no diff....anyone can fix a brake hose very easy....but tell me who can do brake bleeding properly? Now that takes skill brake bleeding is not easy to do and most mechs can't bleed properly only a few mechs have that skill...

For me, i'm stick to one mechanic till one. At least he knows my bike problems external n internal. As for why my bike always has problems. My Mech already told me the problems since the early stage I bought my bike. But due to Financial problems I kept delaying till it really takes a toll on my bike. So now financial ok2, I can repair her all the time. and can see the difference already.

hi guys, where to get 2nd hand verS top block? And how much does it cost?

New block shud be very expensive rite? Coolant is leaking from my block, then i ask mechanic to check and he say have to change the top block because there is a hole inside which allows the coolant to seep out. Temporarily, he used some kind of glue to stop the coolant from leaking out. Need advice from u guys becos i'm a super4 newbie...
