If its bleeding out not too badly..there is still hope by using sealant coolant as a temporary solution but normally ended up quite permernantly too. I know of mototiam charging up to $300+ to do that and have to leave ur bike there for days. However this can be done in less than 45 mins and at much cheaper rate. Most mototiam would suggest the engine block to be replaced with a 2nd unit without gaurantee and can cost up to $900+. Has to be done soonest..otherwise crack may get larger when the engine gets too hot due to lack of cooling from ur coolant system.

If u need help can pm me.

"..bearing inside or connecting the swing arm"...hardly at all unless its damage..I've yet to heard of anyone doing it. So far, I've seen only Yamaha XJR doing that because the damage was caused by having their back suspension raked up with height extender unit like those they call "posh"..if u pillion a lot..they use those things.

New stuff always have...LOL!

ah pek,

i'm on the ver s brembo callipers + steel braided brake lines

for my braking, it doesn't have the bite feel, and the biting point for brake is too "far in" (the brake lever nut/bolt adjuster is set to the furthest liao)

besides bleeding the brake lines, changing brake pads, what other advise could you give?

would changing the below helps to achieve the "bite feel" like a new bike?

thanks.

- BRAKING 19mm master brake pump + lever set: $470

- BREMBO 19 RCS master brake pump + lever set: $550

- Brembo 16mm Master Cylinder Assembly: $288

- Brembo 16mm Master Cylinder Assembly + Clutch Assembly: $388

Regards,

kifakw

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car

and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall,

torque is how far you take the wall with you.

ah pek, thank u for the "ho liao"... u mentioned it decarbonise the valve, but don the fuel system cleaner like stp change the valve too? but why ron 92? if use ron 95 wif that , the effect lesser??

Why not "STP" arh..let me put it this way..there are many same curry fishhead dishes..but there is bound to have one better than the others. The octane level ron is high...why pump R95 when u can save $$s on R92?

Wah..u did everything there is to it liao. U did not mentioned if the brake pads are new or of a good branded type. If it's..than don't use brake fluid "DOT 5"..use "DOT 3" preferrably otherwise DOT 4 and see how. Btw..make sure ur piston are not partially jammed. Also ur bleeding..hope u did it correctly..make sure all the old fluid are totally bleeeded out and fully replaced with new ones.

"lower suspension"...yoi bro!..u are REDESIGNING the bike. Anything alteration will have effects on handling as the centrifugal force is affected when bike is in motion.

To get lower on the bike..may be u wanna shave of some of the cushion on the seat. As far as issues..all bikes (not neccessary just S4) got problem. The main causes are usually the rider..not the bike. If one knows how to maintain the bike well..an S4 is like a Cactus in the desert able to survive wif out rain. Just make sure ur cooling system is maintain well and no tap water is to be used and that ur engine oil is chain timely with the right grade and quality type. The rest are the norm used wear and tear and parts should be replaced when they are out of commission.

"Can I trust the oil and temp lights on the speedo?"...why not?..ur statement oso applys to all other brands and make of motorcycles. If u are referring o urs..that's a subjective especially if its a chiong meter.

"What's ur opinion on impedance and voltage stabilizers? "...not sure who u directing this question to but do asked the agent or distributor that sells it. In my context of the name given to the product..it doesn't make sense. You understand better if u google or go to Wikipedia and find out the definition for the words..it don't make sense for having it on a bike.

i see.

yes the brake pads were new, brand is SBS, 20+ per pair kind.

actually i wasn't on brembo callipers previously. motordiam was exporting the super4 with brembo callipers thus i change it to the brembo callipers with new brake pads and bleeding by motordiam.

i feel that the braking feel isn't there for a brembo lei. maybe i'm expecting too much. hahaha

would you be free to help me run through the brakes and re-bleed if it's possible.

let me know if it is possible to arrange an appointment with you.
