Looks like leak from CDI. Think it's common. I try find the advise from Ah Pek.

This is just the epoxy..use to protect the CDI circuitry design being copied melting. The epoxy has reached its 'life span' of bonding together. THERE IS NO NEED TO REPLACED UR CDI..just keep using it.

From our Famous Advisor Ah Pek...

Hey bro, thx for the advice... Yeap saw that post but couldnt relate it to this current situation... I guess theres no replacing of the Epoxy to protect the cdi... Or there isnt a need to as it is sheltered underseat... Was worried that it could originate from one of the tubings as shown...

Another question... My rpm meter is currently "faulty"... As in it cant detect the rpm... However, every now and den, the needle jumps abit from 0-1rpm and settles back down even when going at 80kmh... Was informed by bikeshop that will nd to replace the meter...issit possible to juz change the cable as per the speedo cable?? Or issit sumthing to do with the electronics?

There's no cable for de RPM meter. There is a small circuit board inside and probably damage. I doubt they sell just that unit along unless u can savage from a damage rpm meter.

Yah...don't bother about it unless you can buy Evostik glue and squeeze it all in. It was initially don't by manufacturer to protect copying the circuitory. Go bike shop they tell u need replacement bekuz going to spoiled liao.

Could it be the sparkplugs? Got the bike last year dec and havent had any spark plug change since then. Ive changed sparkplugs for my previous rxz, if need new sparkplugs, easy to change? For my version s?

Check ur fuse box on ur left back side cover for a 10 amp red fuse for the "ignition"..could be blown...am ASSUMING that your starter moto did not crank.

If itz the fuse, can i buy from shop and change myself?

There should be 1 or 2 spare fuse..if don't have use the "fan" one first. All the fuse for what it is is printed on a paper label beneathe the fuse cover bx (black plastic cover).

Why not...as long as u get the right plugs and a spark plu box spanner size 16. Just remember nott o overtighten. If u screwed up and crossed thread while doing it..it's an xpensive mistake..engine may need rethreading.

Yah...could be clogged and dirtied by rust and residue from kiosk under ground tank..u can unscrew the fuel cock for cleaning. If u are not soncern..just stay with 15 litre and no reserve lah.

question: how often does one have to change the tires? changed my rear tire last year because the side wall was leaking. my front tire shows that it was manufactured in 2009 week 19. Am using a bridgestone battlux.

also, just realised this morning when coming out of my carpark, at very low speeds, when i turn the handle bar to the right, there is a rubbing sound but no sound when the bar is turned to the left. what could the problem be? no sound if the speed is slightly higher at about 10 to 15 km/h.

Haha..i think juz buy new one easy cos my fuel cork oso spoil already..when on the fuel will come out..thks ah pek..
