I wouldnt change it if u have the stock OEM

unless u living in landed property

I actually dont like it as well.. just that it already came with the bike when i bought it

BTW for those with 99-01 busas.. pray and hope ure fuel pump does not go kapoot

U cant use the aftermarket ones and u have to buy original..

Two ways to go abt it.. get a second hand 02-07 tank and use aftermarket pump = $700 plus without spraying

Buy a new fuel pump for the 99-01 model just under S$700 ( I researched on ebay... 99-01 fuel pumps are abt US300+ used.. No brand new ones)

U can service the filter, clean the screens and change the O-rings.. but if the plastics inside crack....

its quite the LAN LAN PAH LAM PAH

Hmmm i beg to differ. There are aftermarket fuel caps that have the bling and X factor in terms of outlook and weight.

Rizoma have a special key to lock it,there was also another brand which need a separate key to unlock and lock it.I cant remember.

You can modify it,relocate the fuel pump and include a fuel filter in it.This have been discussed in here before.Cheers.Just chipping in.

Mark Kor got money plant wor......

Anyway, just a fuel cap wont lighten the bike much.

Start from the rider, that is a big weight reduction......

Alamak you mistaken me for Raymond,i heard his money plantations all over the world.

True, but every bit counts especially for all those whose weight aint similar to VALENTINO ROSSI.:p

It's easier said than done.I know my weight and stomach heavier and bigger than yours, showoff :p

Seriously that's how it will look? Damn. It looks longgggggg. . . . . .

Will go other route. Place a collapse able tailbag on my rear rack.

Thanks by the way.

Already have soft sidebags with custom racks and an ebay rear rack. It seams no hard box will look good on a busa other than the beatlebags. Sigh. . . .

Should be in the 13-14k range. Above that then rather get the younger models.

Compairing stock to stock here.

Accessories do play a part in the private sector. Sell to shop they will always say no much diff from stock but sell at higher price.

I advice u to get off the bike and push it.

Want to look more macho, then go to tachyon motors find amir. Ask him to teach how to push a heavy bike by only using the front handle.

Welcome!

You can try SW motech side rack with Givi V35 side box. Looks nice.

Posted

Nope. Had seen via google/ hayabusa.org etc. Givi on a busa don't look good. Even the aluminium side case does not look good.

Only bettlebags look good then followed by soft bags as seen by pashnit.

Pashnit is having offer for Galfer discs. Buy front pair for USD530 and get the rear free. Excluding shipping of course. Lol... But still cheaper than anywhere else.

hi seniors...just got mine last week...pretty heavy..haha...is it possible if i could lower the height coz its difficult for me to reverse especially on wet surface..slippery la heeeee....

If im not wrong, motoworld got sell the lowering links for our bikes. I'm 1.8 and sometimes also find it difficult to sit while reversing especially wet also. So like what shahrul mentioned, get off the bike and push. Hehe
