Ya, I want something that will hold up during crash and will not loosen easily. There are a few China and Thai made in ebay. But I prefer personal experience from fellow user then it will make the decision easier. My current stock foot peg need to replace some parts. I need to change both rubber grip. And one of the peg holding the rubber. Total up already almost $80. Might as well top up the money for a aftermarket rearset. I've replaced one side foot peg main bracket at around $100. Stock parts not cheap and so easy to break.

My guess was right from ebay,i saw them too.Locally there are almost the same.

True rather than all those advertisement.Same mentality here.

Since you are an ebayer, have you source for second hand stock parts for replacement?

I had not use them before those that you had mentioned.

I dont see why your current set up needs a pc.o_O

Choose wisely to listen to advices which you think can be trusted and not to listen and follow blindly.

Lucky never ask you to change bike.....

It takes time to pinpoint, try going back to one mechanic for servicing and trouble shooting

We indeed share the same sentiments and thoughts.

How much time that mechanic needs, got to really depend how skillful, knowledgeable and experience he is.

If k6 will be hard to use car fuel pump as the fuel pump is internal. Seriously, I yet to know any one with damage fuel pump but possible would be vapour lock. But this usually happens to external fuel pump (more often)

I ask if u fix pc is possibly the mapping is wrong so take out and ride and see how. Since u don't have nvm abt that.

Your jerking happen when u wide open throttle (WOT) ? Or when?

If WOT, try to clean fuel injector and load it. I know racewerk does it. As in simulate. Cause faulty injector may cause opposite reaction. Instead give u more fuel but shut them. Cause u to have jerk.

To be honest, how many of us actually follows the factory manual book for your services ?

Am I right to say many of us will use the parts to its max ?

How many owners know about the indepth details of the motorcycle mechanical parts ?

Sooooo ... please be fair to whoever mechanics in SG may or may not able rectify your problems

because most of us did not follow the correct procedures in the first place and ended with unforeseen mechanical problems.

IMO, self help is extremely important rather be a cyber spoon feeders.

Motorcycle techonologies has vast improvements over the short period of time so as cars.

Even the agent with the most sophisticate equipments may sometimes fail to diagnose the problems.

If he or she think they are that smart and inheret a pretty mouth, please go open your own workshop and let us know,

I strongly believe many would like to try you out. :p

I did look out for the stock parts I need. However thinking back the previous incident that left me with a broken stock rearset around Pagoh, I am thinking an aftermarket might makes a difference at that point of time. Seems like the China and Thai one is too risky, might go for Vortex for a piece of mind. Just need to fill up the requisite from for my Finance Controller to approve... that is the hardest part.....

Wow sorry to hear about your bad incident.I only knew tested and proven by other users were brake pads, brake rotors, levers and fairings made in China that are good.I second that, good luck on your approval.

No lah, never buang. Just a broken foot peg assembly and a bruised foot. Lucky "cable tie" helped except for SMRT case. I personally tried China fairing and lever, mixed review for me. That why I'm still skeptic about China product but not entirely bias against them. Spend the whole morning researching on those cheaper rearset and narrow down to these 2 "brands" for backup,

1) Speedking (Thailand). Linky

2) Bohemian Racing (From USA but should be China made) Linky

At least found some users' reviews online. So far review is normal. Since both is not 100% guarantee okay, will go for Speedking if my requested budget have to be lowered to accomodate my Finance Controller.

Erm i mentioned incident not accident.Lucky you than.China fairings yes saw many mixed reviews,go to extremebusa.com they have a sponsor who makes fairings in China. For levers, there was once an American who chopped some pieces of pazzo, stock and one of the lever made in China.Did some lab tests on it,type of material, durability and etc.

Wow you are indeed quite free and firm on getting a rearset. The one made in Thailand, can be purchased locally. For speedking you may want to email them of which country is making them.

Maybe you should get the max amount which your finance controller approves on.Easier to narrow down from there.

China fairing simply cannot take the bike heat. Will yellow and warp after prolong usage. Plus it cannot hold up during crash. But the paint work and fitment is better than expected. If given another chance, I will go back to fibreglass race fairing. Easier to remove for servicing also.

Yes, I saw the thread on the lever, result is kinda expected. For me, the lever is more of the fitment issue. Very loose and feel cheap. But then it works as per intented..So no issue.

Hahaha, today not much work to do. Plus Monday bluesssss..... Don't know why, just feel like buying something for my bike. You mean Speedking version can be sourced locally? You know from who?

You know women lah, any amount for bike is expensive and waste of money. While their bag can easily buy a street legal exhaust. Who knows, maybe I can only change the stock peg and rubber.

currently using fiberglass fairings which ex owner said it was from usa.

lets see how the fairing will handle over long use.

good thing about oem its "flexible"

bad thing is its expensive and heavy

Ya OEM is the best. But I prefer the race fairing style which usually comprise of 2 pieces only. Top and bottom fairing. So you just need to remove the bottom when changing oil. Easy to remove with the 1/4 turn quick release nut. Removing the stock fairing is nerve wrecking.... Don't know when I will crack any tab...

Yes i do agree especially on their paintwork.Ahhh on the parts on yellow, cant withstand heat and hold during crash.Thats new for me lol.

Fiberglass can easily be repaired and restored.

Not only feel cheap,it's filmsy too.Its attached to an adapter and its made of lousy plastic.I had feel first hand on a Honda 600cc bike.FOC for me i am also not interested.

Yes Monday bluess.Hand itchy for a new aftermarket part for your ride i see hee hee.Not speedking but those made in Thailand, looks quite similar.

We are in the same boat previously, now she stopped and it's high time.Normal lah,not necessarily true, depend on the model, which edition, made of what material and brand. It can buy more than an exhaust easily.WOw that sucks, keep me updated, pray hard and keep your fingers cross.
