I dropped mine just 2 days ago. Suffered a momentary lapse of balance tryin to set the Busa on main stand and down it goes to the right! The recurring image of it lying on its side is still pretty traumatic for me. It looked like a beached whale!

But thank goodness my slider bore most of the brunt in the fall. Slighty chipped but the 'bulge' on the lower right fairing still came in contact with the rough floor. Resulted in a 6 by 2 cm patch of scratches. :weep:

I can go about with the 'sticker remedy' or i could try getting those touch up paint I hear about. But I understand it requires a color code. Anyone readin this, do u guys know of the color code for the black portion? :confused:

So sorry to hear of ur misfortune too.. I can totally understand how u feel upon looking at our bike lying on the rough ground. I do not noe if it's customary that we have to drop our busa once or something b4 everything goes smooth again. It seems like some of the K5 busa riders here I noe have dropped their bikes.

 

Thank goodness u have ur slider. For my case, even if I had a slider, it wldn't help as my bike landed on a RXZ's footrest. Thing is, the RXZ actually brok my bike's fall and not much damage was done to my fairing, thing was, my tank had a palm size dent and a DEEP scratch!!! (damn heart-pain up till now :cry:)

 

Well, my bike is now still in hospital. The paint has been coated on and now its waiting for the lacquering to dry off. Man... I miss my bike.. when it comes back home, I'm gonna give it a thorough wash!!
