Go to east coast.. there is Hyper (next to 711), Skatesports (next to learner ring) and Skateline (near Bedok Jetty). Lots of choices.

I'm using K2 Velocity..Not bad...

 

Of cos abec 7 bearings will be better..

 

From what i noe, K2 XP has a power transfer of 4.0 while Velocity is 3.0..

There is one shop... called skaters world at queensway..

 

The blades are quite cheap. Their blades are cheap cos... their shop is veri ulu.. tt's why offer quite cheap blades.. at level 3. Can get a not bad one under 200. I got mine at 150. Depends on the foot. Cos got to get one that is comfortable for ur legs. Like no pain when standing up etc.

 

Their service also not bad. veri good in fact. Let u try all the blades b4 asking u which blades give u the less pain.

Class 3 -> 26/12/2003

Any skaters live near yishun? Skate at the Sembawang "drain" (opposite Yishun Saphire Condo) during weeknights?

The problem with skating down there is, there is no toilet, no parking, usually after 2 round have to packup. Still prefer ECP:cheeky:

True. Used to skate from Khatib to there (via the backroads/through the HDB estates) and then do 2 rounds and then skate back to NorthPoint for drinks etc and then head back to Khatib. Now I'm staying in woodlands I don't manage to skate there very often at all.

Skated last night from Kallang KFC to TannaMerah and back. Darn good skate. Hope to repeat it next Wed if the weather is fine. Park the bikes outside Wheelers Cafe, skate to ECP and then all the way to the end of the path near the golf course there.
