hi guys i just got my krr150 for a week. alot of problems. main problem is there's this black tube underneath the bike keeps leaking petrol. the first time it leaked, it leaked from full tank to empty. went for servicing they say serviced already but now still leaking but not that much. kickstart also cannot start after like kicking for !@#$% times. whats wrong with the bike?

i can't help you but i recommend you go to the "Kawasaki KRR 150 Riders" thread ( under Sports Bike Section ) as there should be a lot of "KR-veterans" that can help you out. :)

sorry bro for the late reply as i'm admitted to hospital and due to my sickness thus not able to check this thread actively these few days.. :)

1) black tube, i suppose that's under the tank? you have to change the fuel hose..

- with regards to the bike shop, go back to them and tell them to check that leak..

2) cannot start, change spark plug..that will ease your starting up..

3) no need overhaul!! that's normal, black oil might be cause by you never wack your bike..white smoke is normal.. UNLESS.. black smoke.. jialat... just continue to ride and ask us if you need anymore advise.. if required.. you can go planet and ask them..

search for planet in sbf and you will find it..

I have that problem too, think it call overflowing. i make a mistake and do a 1k++ overhaul but that problem is still there. End out i realize just change the jet needle will solve everything already -.-

it is known as a flooded carb..the stop float is jammed unable to stop petrol going into the carb.. when the carb is full.

either the stop valve problem or the float is having a problem..

i love my ezzyoiler

experience the miracle...

where chain cleaning is history...

u are having a carb overflow problem. your float valve isnt able to stop the flow of fuel coming into the carb fuel reservoir once its full have the excess goes out of the carb thru the overflow tube aka the black tube from carb. bike wont start when overflowing most of the times. its very simple to solve. adjust float valve level to parrelel of the carb fuel reservoir body or ur float valve spoil.

Any good shop that is willing to tune kr carb to factory setting?

 

i doubt so.. have to "DIY".. unless you port your carb already..

bro i gt this problem whereby there is leaking of my coolant near the engine where the coolant pump located. is it the gasket is leaking or the pump itself is faulty causing the leak?

Hi guys, long story short... I'm a new member reporting to the KR150 family :cheeky:

Long story :

Bought the $350 KR 2 weeks ago with COE ending 2 days ago... that bike was too problematic and I decided to scrap it :weep:

Bought another KR150 (the stock green $2.7k one) and am riding it now. Changed a rear brake disc (cos it was so thin already!)... fork oil...fixed up the non working speedo... changed a new set of headlights and was having fun with it the past 2 days...

Need advice. When at gear 3, whenever I rev to 6k, I lose power... like a lot of air but combustion not efficient. Fuel consumption is only 22.5km/L versus the problematic one which gave me 28km/L assuming the meters are working correctly. What else do I need to do to get the FC improved to +-30km/L. I ride both the same style... rpm around 6-7k most of the time.. :confused:

Ahahahaha....I was riding with rear tire with only 20 psi! After inflating to 41 psi, I get 27+km/L now :cheeky:

Regarding the combustion issue with 3rd gear, after engine warms up, it can revv till no tmr liao :bouncefire:

throttle slide is called fuel jet: Originally is 270, depending on what you need for full throttle den change accordingly.. *not too small else piston jam.. :)

hahaha.. good to know that it's only your tire.. :)

lolx.. normally for gears.. dun rev too high until it's all warm up.. you will speed up the wear and tear if you rev too early (no warm up).. :)

eventually gear will be damage and the end results is gear box very very noisy when at lower RPM and soon you can't engage that gear.. :)

Thanks! Rear tire leaking with a huge nail so I just changed a new Batlax B39F today :cheeky:

Hopefully FC improves. I will try not to go over rpm 5k until after riding for 5 mins :thumb:

lowest price of coverset would be those bikes that are going to be scrap.. mount of head fairring will be done in MY (lowest price)

Hi all

my krr can not go up7 rpm.gear 1 and 2 can go up 7 rpm,gear 3 4 5 6 can not go up 7 rpm,just now go shop ask he say not valve jam.he say electronic part problem.any want know what is my bike problem?I don want get chop by moto bike shop.
