could it be the place u park in? last time got one ******* sabo my bike. he smear chocolate on my suspension to attract ants..

best is to wash ur bike thoroughly.

had them before, parked my car near a nest and they crawled through the entire car, inside and out.

they left after a few days. yours shouldn't be any different.

if not, then maybe washing your bike.

have that problem too at my open car park area

occasionally have those big red ants crawling all over

*touch wood* have yet to discover any around the internals

but i'd been thinking of putting a couple of moth balls under the seat - NOT IN THE TANK!!!

wonder if any one's tried this and if it helps?

Grounded... :/

Mine has ants too. Washing won't help since they are tucked away somewhere. I always see them in the morning. No idea where they get food to survive on either.

It's your damn bike, wash it yourself! You rinse your own mouth after you eat, don't you?

The bike is probably a shelter for them from Rain as well as the Sun.

I had this problem some time ago... but they left after a while..

Since then, one good wash and avoid parking near grassy patch, trees.

Usually no harm.....

Its not about hard you can hit, its about how many times you can take a hit and remain standing

cos i park my bike under a tree, recently keep having ants on my bike. they move fast, especially when u get off ur bike and its still warm. already 3 occasions they actually try and move their nest into my underseat storage. i can even see their white eggs there. dam disgusting. doesn't happen when it doesnt rain though.

If I hit you and you hit me, and I hit you back and you hit me back, and go on, you see, that goes on ad infinitum. It just never ends. It happened to me also. Was walking towards my bike to go home after work. I saw the lizard on my seat. When I wanted to scare it away, it crawled under the seat.

I was sweating like hell. Cos my fear of house lizards is like 12 out of 10.

I shook my bike like hell, but it is still there. Till today. I think. Hope it crawled out already. That beast has to eat and drink right? Hahaha..
