Rear drum brakes are more than enough in many cases.

When i first got my YBR, i always used mostly my front disc brakes and i regarded my rear drum brakes to be useless. After locking my front wheel twice during the rainy season, i vowed to use my rear brake even more. After prolonged and regular use, the rear drum brakes are powerful as hell. I just had to keep using it.

Hey man yea I know they do the job.it might just be me. But regardless of functionality, as you've already said that they do work well, they do look a bit dated. the comment is just on pure cosmetics.

Not to worry bro for I too share the same sentiment. Rear drum may be powerful but it needs a powerful leg to make it powerful. Disc brakes are still better. Otherwise all Class2 bikes would not be fitted with it. They put drum brakes on it to cut costs.
