I am doing class 2 and waiting for my TP. My advice, try to stop at the yellow line more to the right before entering the course. Anyway, take your time, you have 6 secs to clear it! 80 y/o grandmother can walk the course within 6 sec, no need to rush! It's better to be slow and penalised than getting Immediate failure!

:angel: hahaha ! true true . then how abt changing to gear 2 ? i usually lack of speed i think cause when i'm in gear 2, the bike go "grek grek grek grek" unless i open more throttle. :angel:

Hi guys ! need some tips on how to do the crank course smoothly ? Currently doing Prac 3 (part 2) and having difficulty in the crank course (level 1 circuit) . Last attempt, Idk what happen, I hit the entering curb and next I'm on the floor . hahaha :angel:

 

 

Don't turn in too early, else you may hit the left kerb, turning in later also position your bike more face on to the entrance.

 

Eye points is ever important, you will ride where you look. Don't worry about the bike, it's a machine you control, so it's an extension of you. You see where, you will go where. So think less of the kerb, or you will really end up there.

 

Do it slowly, 6sec is a awful long time for such a short distance. With proficiency, comes speed naturally. Not chiong speed on first instance.

Anyone can ride a bike. Being a biker, is a state of mind.

Thanks for the tips guys ! :thumb: I'll just need to pass my prac 3 (part two) tmrw so i can do circuit revision . I guess I need more practice with the course . :angel:

Why phobia bro? You don't trust the rider is it? Have bad experienced before I presume..

yeah y u have phobia to be pillion so weird, the only way to avoid I guess is to have odd number of students? There was 1 pract i went, the female was the odd 1 out, she didnt pillion anyone or pillon by anyone.

1 reason is that sometime ago something happen which i was a pillion on my friend bike on the road. Somewhere at a junction while cornering, the bike skidded & luckily that time no vehicle around except for a stationary lorry some distance away which i landed just behind it after the bike skidded.

 

another reason is,....... personal. :-)

I think its just 5,6,7 then have to complete 1 Road revision?

Good morning all.

 

Yesterday went for Practical 5 & very surprised as that 10.30am session,

besides me & other guy doing practical 5, there is no other practical lesson.

Maybe because coincidentally during that period was TP test going on downstairs.

 

But most important went through & had booked next monday practical 6.

 

So what should i expect for practical 6?

can anyone share your experience on practical 6? e.g. like what are the chances of not repeating it.. :-)

5,6,& 7 only ...

 

suggest u book 5 for nite 'cos at least u must complete 1 nite riding..

Lesson 6 is ur route test familarization....

Easy to pass if u ride confidently..chk ur blindspot correctly..change lane correctly ....most importantly..do wat the instructor teach u .. ...
