Plus a Sumptuous Thai Buffet.

:cheer:

The Thai New Year Day "Songkran"

Starts with the Splashing of Water in a form of blessing for a gd yr.

Cheaper than giving "ang pow" & more fun.

Hotel set up 2 Big Water container with running hose and Ice Blocks

So the Entire team took to the street to Bless All motorist going thru.

Went down town ctr to join in the Celebration

More pics @ our web site later...

Friday Afternooon... Sms for Chi Yen says it is not well with the Gerik team.

Guess U all are pretty updated on the Crash...

We like to express our team condolences to the family

Elderly man that pass away.

Au had done that to the relatives that came to the site.

It was accepted by them. He would had a much better chance if he had a crash helmet.

He wore a soft hat.

Shaun is fine... Kept most of his good looks.

Will do some checks here in Spore.

Like to Express my thks to the Team for the support

Adek for the endless calls to her buddies in Malaysia...

to locate Shaun...

We didn't know which hospital he was at & his cond.

I rode down that evening with a buddy (Thks Jomat)

to Ipoh.

Au is a Ipoh boy... His assistance was invaluable

Thks Au & Family for organizing All in Ipoh.

Cut long sorry short...

We were able to Sent Shaun Family & S4 guy that skid to Spore

on a Mini Bus on Sat Nite @ 10pm.

Think Chi Yen needs a rest... Gone thru so much...

Thks Chi Yen.

We are all glad that Shaun is not to badly injured...

His full face helmet & Armour Jacket took most of the impact.

Lesson for all riding... Wear Gd Protection.

We had learn much...

I had learn much...

The risk of riding is always there...

We must be always alert

and look for signs that spells danger.

My apologies to the team going Kuantan for not being able to lead them

as I was helping out in Ipoh.

Had some difficulty to find the Resort. I Understand... not an easy place to find.

Thks to All in the team that help in getting there...

Earlybird, Adek, Eric...

St Du du...

He lead the Spore-Kuantan Team.

Think we all need a Good Rest! Phew! :cheeky:

Thanks for the nice pic, Spectrum.

Hope Shaun is coping well. Condolences to the M'sian guy who didn't make it.

Also, get well soon Roger n Mom. The bike should be ok. From what I observed at the scene, it didn't look badly damaged. Kenny made sure that it was well taken care of.

Hi all insects,

this is my first "virginal" tour of the hornet's nest!

Hope you guys/gals can gimme some pointers?

i just got me a FX 250 BBDC style hahahahahah

anyway was wondering since you guys go touring & stuff,

would a 250 be able to take the distance?

can i get i wing rack or something cos the bike came w/a relatively new E46 but looks damn "fa-ugly" think a wing rack would look much much better!

also there seems to be a "buzzing" sound whenever i blip the throttle

guess it's the norm?

also think that hornets have a tank bra or something similar as i've seen

one 900 at jb cool sial...!

any of you selling a 2nd hand or know where to get one?

cheers matie!

exactly a year ago, a 250 went up up all the way to phuket and back without any problems clocking a bout 2800km. he went again to hatyai then to penang again a few months later. 2nd long journey suffered a little heat issues but was minor.

if your bike well maintained regularly, i don't see any problems.

a new 250 hornet rider did install side racks(not wing rack) for panniers but i forgotten whaat paniers he had.

i don't know if the 900 u saw was me in JB. i just came across another silver 900 with a similar set up with mine at suntec city last week. almost identical. bagster tank cover, givi crash bars and side racks. park beside him but couldn't find the rider though.

get the bagster from motoworld. got to preorder.

matte gunmetal grey is the year 2003 stock colour. year 2004 is metallic mattes, and i think year 2005-06 is metallic gloss.
