The rain this morning screwed me up badly. We should ride to find good food more often.

Friday dinner what time and which part of tpy?

*I don't entertain bullsh*t

Dinner - Lorong 5 there are two places serving decent western and chinese food at normal prices.

Or we can head for that JTC flatted factory and Botak Jones (TPY north). Location wise for both places no issues I can lead you there. But... need more $ to eat at Botak Jones so Lorong 5 is still my top choice.

We'll just meet at Lorong 5 Esso (same old place) at 7pm.

since its a dinner TCSS session we start at 7 lor - later would be too hungry = faint.

If we all have nothing on on Sat morning we can of course fill up and go for a short ride to nowhere to forget our worries for a time :3

It would help me relieve stress from certain parts of my life lol!

@ KJ

Appreciate the offer - let's draw up some plans in due course. I have a challenge to make all outings non-boring :3

Eating place is open for discussion, I guess we'll just meet up and decide on the spot.

I just retuned my carb for maximum horsepower and can now keep up with my favourite Sonata Racing GT Taxis that I follow to and from work :D

Engine running temperature and vibrations have both decreased significantly, and I have gained a cool "turbo intake" sound and accompanying fiesty exhaust note!

Also did my first (not complete) electrical mods which is great hands on experience. It can be delicate work!

FC went up when I did the 'desert rally' tuning last sunday. Later I realised that was actually rich almost all the way.

Rich gives more torque at lower revs and lower temperature at wide open throttle but as soon as you cut the power... oh no! Refuses to idle properly, no engine braking at all, etc.

Lean = you might be scared to ride the bike, it sounds so fierce you'd think it's gonna blow up anytime.

Now I think it's precisely between lean and rich. I don't really care about my FC since my FC is measured while riding normally anyway (which is as you noticed, more or less flat out :D)

Reply on kenny's behalf, throttle response and smell of exhaust. Slow response from throttle when you whack it means too rich.

Yep, I'll bring you to the top secret Top Gear Singapore bike test circuit and you can just turn that little screw, ride and feel the difference between super lean, super rich, and optimal (somewhere in between, and slightly rich). Different bikes have different feel but generally it's like the Professor says.

Mission report:

Team Animal Farm comprised of meow woof quack and baa hit the designated targets on schedule :D

Unlike other outing groups, I let the P-plate play flight leader, it's great experience! The experienced guys are at the back for convoy security and to do overwatch cover.

There will be an evening patrol tomorrow and we're putting a 2-day old bike through its paces along some rural and industrial highways. Proposed start time: 9pm.
