The spelling is Magdaco. It's an engine oil additive. I don believe in dat la. Rather than come out money to buy dat better well of to buy Fully synthetics.

to all bros esp wave riders, i just wanna ask if u guys know of this Engine Oil by Honda. the bottle is red+white and can be bought at 5bux. i always buy it at FJT Rowell Road. I noticed when i open my seat, under it theres a thailand sticker of that engine oil. im riding Honda Wave R 125. maybe the manufacturer recommends this engine oil? im not sure but i haf been using this for the past 5 months la.. basically this is my 6th bottle now coz i change every mth. so far so good just wanna know what u guys think.

the honda oil is confirm can use one... its just that other brands of oils are more researched... giving it a lil more mileage over the honda oils...

 

if you change honda oil every 1000km @ 5 bucks.

 

and you change motul 5100 every 2500km @ 13 bucks.

 

it all works out to be the same, if you ask me.

and the top bike of the world they presumed is... Honda Cub C50 (think thats the model)...

 

in a nutshell, whatever oil you put into a honda engine... it'll just run... becos.. its honda. (p.s. they used some old cooking oil in the show.. and it runs...)

Got some pple say it's 700ml. For myself i put in 900ml. Hope the info help u.

Oh, i see thanks.. Cos my friend, he DIY his bike and changed his engine oil. What he discovered one day is that his bike ran very well, until his bike lost power and white smoke came out from his exhaust..

 

He thought it could be the spark plug and changed it. The plug was wet everytime he changed it. Then he opened up his air filter. He had to throw it away. He found out he put too much engine oil during his DIY and excess oil went up to his air box. So he had to drain some oil out..

 

HAHA well hope no one does the same thing. Cheers!

White smoke is because he FAIL to change his engine oil at the recomended interval la bro. If taken care to change the engine oil monthly should not have dat problem. Cheers.

The mech at JB pur whole bottle..that is 1Litre... I was shocked oso leh... My rxz 600ml only.. Wave need 1 l of engine oil ah?

1) any cub riders using relatively expensive fully synthetic engine oil every oil change? motul 300v that kind.

 

2) every brand of oil has its smooth working 'mileage' e.g. 2000km.. but does it have a time limit too? (cos it'll take me more then 2 months to clock the 2000km mileage)

 

3) lastly, is it advisable to alt the oil changes between semi synt oils and full synth oils?

FOr the answers

 

1) Yes there is. Me. Hehe. Not every oiL change la. I sometimes only use. My bike so many engine oil have taste already. Maxima Fully also tried already!

 

2) Follow mileage? Wow dat is the most economical way to maintain a bike. Following the mileage is the most accurate measure. IF can't be bothered then use monthly. No it does not affect anything only dat some pple can't be bothered to monitor the mileage liek u do.

 

3) Lastly, This is up to individuals. IF u can afford fully synthetic price the u can go for it. If not then minimum semi-synthetic is more than sufficient if u riding a cub.

in the past my wave i only pour in 800ml at the most... cos it will eat EO ma...

but think safer range will 750ml...

if u pour in too much EO ur bike will feel heavy at throttle there and u can feel like its too thick in the gearing part...

I agree on dat part. When too much engine oil the engine will turn sluggish and heavy to go. Max out is 900ml. Dat is MAXIMUM already. The 100ml can save and save and save then u can get 900ml in the long run. Save $$ leh like dat?

Like that how sia...yeah i agree my bike feels abit heavy now..but somehow i feel the engine smoother.. The mech pur the 4t bottle till empty sia.. I oso dunno wat to say..
