personally i know nuts abt wave. but if the oil really circulates thru the radiator, it works, and keep yr engine healthy as it helps to keep the oil temp low. Also change oil frequently, fresh oil runs better too.

are you sure that sonic can mod this air cooler?

sonic has a liquid cooling system.. this is better than air cool u know?

yah.. planta and other kind of margarine also can.. no need to pre-heat on frying pan.. after u ride engine still hot can put inside, it will melt by itself inside, even better than normal eo because no need funnel or need to pour slowly.

what's more... it has emulsifiers, vitamins, coloring matter, and other ingredients.

can wave use fully synthetic engine oil?

how many litre of engine oil needed for oil change?

:cheer:

1 litre will be good enough for an oil change. If u want to use for extended usage pls monitor your engine oil level.

Topic : How to read wave dipstick

Description : my wave i dipstick only 1 marking

********************************************************************

Does anyone really know how to read the dipstick of a wave i? Can anyone tell me where is upper limit and lower limit?

Thanks,

Tin

just use the recommend amount, overtop will cause overheat.

just save the balance for future top up....(that you have to check you engine oil level often)

preventive measure vs corrective action!

Wave Dipstick is something like this see this way top ---> handle I----O-----XXX

The GREEN colour location indicates the amount of 1 litre of engine oil inside your engine.

While the RED colour is it is at the LOW level. Pls top up to somewhere at the GREEN marking if it is at the RED area ZONE which has the XXX at the dipstick.

Thanks but Oh no:cry:.

My whole dipstick is black in colour (mine a wave i). There is only a small flat part with a single line, then it becomes conical followed by a four fin or wings all the way to the screw thread. :giddy:

Can someone please advise again?

Thanks,

Tin

at the bottom-most of the dip stick u see a horizontal line followed by the criss-cross line. Juz top up till the top of the criss-cross. Tha lower line is the Low indicator. Ususally 0.7 litre should be enuf. More than that, the oil has no room for expansion when heated up. plus too much may cause it to get to the seals n damage it. hope this helps.
