hi.. just bot a givi box at LAB..

 

the thing is i feel that the spring is slightly faulty.. it locks great.. but opening it is sometimes tedious..

 

should i take it to change..? coz sumtimes it werks well leh..

 

dun wanna go all the way there and cant prove my point and get exchange..

just install a new givi rear box...but gana scratches as it flew off cos the latch is not properly secure...lucky no car went over it....but i c liao aso heart pain...any1 know how to cover those scatches?? or "repolish" it?? i saw some bike place a box "bra" on top of it...same as tank bra?? hmmm....any suggestion??? if not hav to live with e scatches liao..haizzz............. :cry:

haiz...long story..cos when i wash my bike...i took out the box n put back after that..i tot i heard e "click" sound when i latch it in...actuali therez 2 latches..must reali hear e 2nd "click" sound then secure...took things for granted la....lucky no car around when my box FLEW...hahaaaa..now every time b4 i ride on..i check all my boxes to confirm its secure...haiz....

U might consider to paste carbon fibre type onto ur box to cover up the scratches..

 

Is a sticker type not the expensive $$ type..

 

can be brought at LAB..

its depend on wic size u look for. and the box if got spot light or not. price may varies.

ya man..its depends on the size...when i bot my TA200..it comes with the givi rear box...but its those without rear light..heard from the mechanic that if u wan to install rear light..can do it at malaysia..cheaper..any1 know whr is it?? for the givi side box..cost ard $145 at ah boy...

Is it true that Givi box are more secure than Kappa box? As in, during travelling or going through uneven terrain, the kappa box tends to vibrate and shake a lot, as if its going to break off....

I examine my kappa box and rack with my friend's Givi. The base plate that hold the Givi box is quite big wheras the kappa base plate is rather small... is that the reason?

 

Thinking of getting a Givi V46... Anyone with experience on this model? Care to give some feedback? =)

If u looking for those 'squarish' box, can try H&B ones.

They look like boxes!!

 

But if you have your very own design, u can try SengKwang at AMK Autopoint, they might be just the right person to custom make the box for you

Yup, they only do metal.

If you already have your design, they can do up the metallic portion of the box. But u nid to bring your own hinge thou
