Just follow the manufacturer's recommendation.. ride as per normal and no prolonged revs above the limit set by the instruction (as per your user manual).

Wont f the wiring side up..Just rem to use a needle to push out the pin..Those sewing needles will do..Then black tape over it..

from what i understand, after some guys change exhausts, the FI problem surfaces. is this the reason you guys have the FI prob?

coz i've observed my set valve is still in place, my exhaust is aftermarket, but i dun see the FI prob...?

or is the FI prob only a matter of time once the set valve rotor jams?

The things you own, end up owning you.

ic.. dis suzuki set valve is similar to yamaha's exup.. anyway i did disable it on my r6 so the valve stays open all the time.. no noticeable change in performance.. some say it makes the bike louder

Bah-weep-Graaaaagnah wheep ni ni bong.

Technically idling should be louder with it since the valve is in a always open position..

i used to spray lube on it to prevent it from jamming...

well... it lasted me 1.5yrs before it just got jammed recently...

too lazy to remove it also... so just leave it... haha~

did you cut the wiring off the ecu under the seat? as to my knowledge that is to prevent the FI from getting any error

Didnt cut off, but remove/push out the pin from the connectors to the ECU so that it would nt be connected. And doing this prevents the ECU from picking up that set valve FI error signal..

The Set Valve motor is just disconnected and not totally remove..

Out of the 4 Jap bike brands, you already listed 3.

Looks like you really don't know what you want eh?

In R1 thread, surely the replies will be to get a R1...

:btw: Maxbg summed it up quite nicely for you already.

Since you have budget, then you should ask yourself s few questions:

What kind of performance do you prefer? top speed or grunt?

Going for the looks? Posing factor?

Tracking the bike?

Alternatively, you can consider buying 2nd hand,

so you don't lose too much if you decide to change bike after 1 year. :D

Unless you are shiiting money like ((((R1Rider)))), can change a new bike every 6 months.
