How about Fri 6.30-7.30pm at Labrador Restaurant and Lounge? Plenty of space to park our bikes within view.

Agenda:

1. Put a face to the nicks

2. Eat, drink, tcss for awhile

3. Compare different exhaust notes (don't think will disturb anybody there), look-see-look-see each others' bikes

4. Discuss a date for PG track

5. Measure suspension sag (this is for me but if anybody is keen, we can do. Need at least 2 persons, preferably 3)

6. Go clear carbon (doesn't mean we break the law. You can maintain 3rd-4th gear 6-7krpm and not exceed 100kmh).

 

Went for a 2nd recce of the place. Venue is good, just that food may not be. If you take away the "sea" from seafood, fried noodle, fried rice, pizza, fish and chips about $20 with coke. I wouldn't expect very yummy taste too. Maybe some other place better.

One more question pls. I've been on a Yamaha for almost 10 yrs and I always get my parts from Auto Machinery cuz their parts cost 20-30% cheaper than Hong Leong. Who is the AM equivalent for Suzuki parts?

Btw, what is the "healthy" voltage for k7?

I am getting 11.3V - 12V at start up and 13V - 14V MAX above 5 rpm excluding neutral gear. Neutral like all 12++. Is the time of my rectifier or stator up?

As long as your charging voltage is somewhere between 13V-14V its good. My other bike is getting 14V at idle.

Do simple diagnosis first. open up ur batt compartment ...start her up...place two ends of ur volt tester at ur batt....make a blow with ur throttle. see the response. :)

bike officially died on me. the idling voltage was about 11.3V,after that cannot start already. Heng just outside my house only. Will rectify it after i am back from my trip..

 

Where to get GSXR headlight cover ah? Thinking of getting smoked one.
