Hmm. What about RXZ? It's been around for 20+ years. parts are easily available in SG and JB.

FC is at 45km/l aprox. Simple 2 stroke engine. maintenance routine will be like the PX200. 2 T and gear oil.

second that. Yamaha RX series seem to be able to take the most abuse from lack of maintenance.

i have know of RX-Ks running for nearly 30years with only 1 service per year.

I thought maintenance includes inspect, clean, adjust, lubricate and replace. So low maintenance means we don't follow the manufacturer advise by not doing the ICALR. In this respect isn’t any bike can be low maintenance?

Some bikes require more inspection, cleaning, adjusting, lubricating, replacing etc.

Huh all those that you mention are standard leh i tot. Maintenance to me meaning things to maintain before it spoil. Things like bearing, coil, battery, rectifier, FC, road tax. Cleaning adjust and lubricate are norm and common practice in owning a bike for all class all bike. even bicycle.

some bikes you need to be ride frequently, if not it starts to give problem... I seldom ride my vespa and after one year, the mech told me I seldom ride coz gear oil very clean... haha

one think good abt vespa is you dun need 4T, just gear oil and 2T... looking for these type... of coz if is chain driven, just get lube for it...

i referring to if i happen to get a 4 stroke bike... i think 2 stroke still easier to maintain but hv to compromise with confort

Bro, can try Spark 135. I usually start mine once every 2 - 3 weeks (also on short distance riding). Not much problem. Maintenance - $12 for engine oil (once every 5 - 6 mths; cos don't ride much), tire once every year $180 (for peace of mind; usually my tires don't wear out much), petrol @ $4-5+ / tank; on 98 (once every 200km+/-). Road tax & Insurance, you do your own maths. Works out to be around $2 / day to keep my bike...

Cheers
