Since the seat is a goner, then put gum/ tar on the seat catch the cat or catsss that did it, then take home chop, skin, cook and use the skins to rewrap the seat.

hydrop, I've had the same experience with both my own bike and my sons..... a real pain... also have a cat that sprays its markings on my exhaust...the stink is terrible one the pipe gets hot. Only cure is to get a bike cover with ties or velcro at the bottom, or set a big spring trap to friighten the cat.....

Nothing can beat the worst that the cat pee on exhaust pipe. The next moment when ride off, the heat vaporise the urine with strong smell of the ammonia toxic!!!

Besides the spike from Daiso, I've also bought this car repellant from Daiso. Slot it into those gift pouch so the smell will spread around. With this two methods, it will keep the cat away. Just replace the cat repellant when the smell has weakened.

Atfirst I use bike cover. Turns out the cats like being under the cover. More privacy while sleeping

So for awhile I gave up.

One day I went to 219 to rewrap my ugly seat and wanted to try new strategy.

Then I tried spray vinegar on the seat. My uncle gave me the tip. Sound weird but I tried it. It works!

Then one day.. it rained and washed all the vinegar away.

So when I go to my bike in the morning, I was greeted by nice new scratches by the friendly neighbourhood cat.

Haha a bit off topic. But roughly how much you spent to re wrap seat ah? I'm buying a second hand bike then owner told me the seat will stay wet for a few days after rain cause its the condom seat fabric material that kind. Thinking worth it to rewrap or not. Haha thanks!

I rewrapped my sp pillion seat at bendemeer rd - abt $12 or so. Cant quite remember the exact sum.

Cant remember the name of the shop - come from macpherson road to bendemeer road. Keep on right lane. Turn right into the 1st HDB estate. You can see the shop on your right just before you turn. Its the corner unit.

Prices are cheaper there. My Castrol Power 1 racing 2t usually $23 & above elsewhere, bought there for $18.
