JunyahRebel > I had my clutch cable changed in Dec 06 together with EBC brake pads. Total cost is S$103/= So if you are able to get the price for EBC brake pads, then should be able to get the price of the cable. I do not have the individual breakdown of the price. Had also changed the levers some time back. But forgot about the price. Anyway, where did you have it changed?

hmm.. ebc i have two new sets lying in my storeroom which i bought frm a forumer for 15 each. i guess he must hav sold me at maybe 60% ++ of the original price. roughly should be 20 plus dollars per set brand new maybe? i'm just guessing.

so for labour cost, take away another 20 plus maybe?... leaves yr clutch cable costing probably around 60 plus as well...ok, so i didn't get ripped off. I was totally skeptical when my mech laughingly commented that this was the most expensive clutch cable he ever held. but dammit, he refuses to reveal where he buys stock parts from!

does anyone know? wouldn't it be much more economical to get our stock spares direct from a dealer and then pay installation charges separately? i'm getting a lil frustrated by this 'secrecy' of his.. :dot:

i don't think u can get it from FJT as it seems only the vara125 uses size 44.. previously some guys got online from david silver spares..

bro... i got mine from FJT... its an italian brand.. im using back sprocket 41T. its not those cheapo phantom sprocket.they also have 39T if u want nice touring mode and fuel efficeiency during touring... with 41T, its easy to hit 120km/h.. anyway clutch cable can be bought at FJT for a freaking $50.
