JunyahRebel > I'll be getting a pair of Lasertec this coming Sept or Oct at HKL. Anyways, its rather hard to find Tourance nowadays unless you are willing to spend. From what I understand, Sirac is rather slippery when travel along wet ground

Wai> for yr information, last month i went to HKL for my front tyre to change to Metz Lasertec (front). And they told me that it is out of stock. but for rear tyre, i dunno. try to call if they have stock or not be4 you go down. :thumb:

JunyahRebel> i change mine front tyre to pirelli scorpion which cost me $85 while rear tyre to Metz Lasertec at $125 (both tyre change at HKL). While riding on the road, feeling quite good and comfortable on the road. And for Dunlop, i try the non-semi off tyre be4 i change my both tyre, it is quite pretty good for cornering and normal road but not for semi-off road. :cheeky: maybe u will like to change both tyre to Pirelli Scorpion for semi-off and normal road purpose..

Wai, I paid $170 nett for tourance rear. Did it at Stamford Motors at AMK Autopoint 5th floor. The Lasertec and Tourance combi is really good.

idun69,

Even when I use Lasertec, my bike still shimmy a bit when it is raining. As what Farhan says, do not speed when it rains or when the surface is wet :)

yeah i tink dats da best solution..:thumb:

maybe u all can make a mass order from FJT or davidsilverspares.

The size 44 sprocket for the rear always out of stock one. Should be around $70+

i've used 41, 42 and 44 before. For singapore road nice to use 41, 42. But once u go touring, best combi still 44-14. Hit 135km/h before along Machap with the combi. Front sprocket never used other size before, only used 14.

So now ur bike cannot go 160km/h already?

i went(involuntarily) from a 14-44 to a 14-41.. i'ts ok lar.. the pickup is a bit slower but i really dig the smoothness.. i think stock is still the best all-rounder though.. cuz the last ride to bekok i lost a lot of speed uphill.. although it appeared that my bike was running cooler than normal.. managed to hit 125kmh at 11000rpm.. i'm still calculating what the mileage improvement is and will update.. figured since i already spent on the 41 that i'll just stick to it till the next change..
