synthetic engine oil offers far superior lubrication and more expensive as compared to mineral oil.

So how often do i need to change the following oils on a bike with an oil capacity of 1L, which has no oil filter?

1) Mineral

2) Semi-synthetic

3) Fully-synthetic

Thanks.

seriously, for a 125cc bike, just use the cheapest oil and change it more often... maybe every 2000km???

Follow your manual. Cant go wrong with that.

Becareful of the oil levels though. Check often and top up if necessary.

Better oil may maintain viscosity longer but build up of sludge and metal bits will cause wear anyway.

Instead of topping up, some choose to just change.

Good Eo is like insurance to your engine. Sometimes with better oil, you can feel its smoother or performs better.

interesting, what bike does not require an oil filter?

basic component for engine longevity

Most people go through life following the crowd.

Others think for themselves.

They go their own way.

My bike got no oil filter. Only got an oil mesh thing, but that is under the crankcase cover itself. You got to open it up to clean it.

My bike 1k already the EO left in the crankcase is about 60%. Semi-Synthetic. Use mineral the oil can last longer. Much longer.

Hi bro. Your ride is YBR is it? YBR is air cooled and without oil filter right? Usually this kind of engine requires High Viscosity oils. Like u said u left with abt 60% of oil in the engine aft certain mileage usage using Semi-synthetic right? Maybe the oil viscosity have thin out already. What Viscosity u using for your Semi synthetic? Common for Semi is usually 10W40. This viscosity usually is highly recommended for liquid cooled engines but not for air cooled engines. If it is use on air cooled engines it may NOT last as long.

When u said u use mineral oil it last much longer it is because of its viscosity. Usually the minerals are commonly 20W50. I suggest you should try 20W50 viscosity engine oils be it mineral, semi synthetic or Fully synthetics.

You may like to try the AGIP Racing 4T 20W50. Just my suggestion.

Happy riding bro.

I use 20W50 for both mineral and semi, but the mineral still lasts longer bro... Why ah?
