i agree wif arthur..liddat u put hepco box or renthal handlebar oso considered illegal mah since its a modification and not e bike's original accessory. come to tink of it..mebbe changin to a koso mirror is illegal

LTA does not allow ANY modifications, even common ones like using AT handlebar, or fat bar must go inspection.

 

but how many of us are going for inspection, just for handlebar or bar riser ? or hand guard ? aftermarket footpeg ?

 

front fender... for example is BMW GS's beak on Africa Twin.. it's common, but anyone got summon for that ? it's just common understand and dont mention it.

or take it a little more and use Dakar head fairing ? cannnot ? nobody say.. so why so concern ?

 

yearly inspection check only braking, lights, exhaust sound level only..

C'mon, use some common sense...

 

Small things like handle bars, mirrors, blinkers, fenders are being swapped around like nobody's business, and has anyone been caught for it? Heard from friend's uncle's friend don't count.

 

The single modification that most affects a bike's handling is the top box. Has anyone been summonned for it?

i.e 1) Doesnt mean doing something on the engine is not allowed.

2) Doesnt mean doing any cosmetic is allowed also.

 

Just like there is a Super 4 in the pass who has a spoiler do you think its allow?

So TS didnt even post pix of wat kind of Front Fender he is going to install. If he were to install something with all the spikes and sharp edges, i dun think its allow.

 

Hope you dun mind but its nothing against you. But just that TS didnt specify. Anyway it is true that all modification are not allowed just that they didnt want to enforced it only. They can still stop you, usually "P" plater they definately will stop you.

But the word 'Any' shouldnt be there. Not a big issue here except it may invite opinions from the public to contest your sentence as a whole structure. While in actual fact, they will more concern on the single word 'Any' only. On one end, you will confuse newbies and 'challenge' the oldies.
